1 ~ The Note

•Mia's POV•
I wake up, and I look to my side at the digital clock, it was still 3:00am. I sit on my bed and get my glasses, and look over to Emma's bed....she wasn't there. I look over at the little bathroom and see the lights turned off. So she's not there. I concluded. I stand up and look over at the kitchen and living room, Emma wasn't there either. I started to panic. I look over at our room again and ripped off the sheets off her bed. I see the note. I read it, and I wished I hadn't.

Mia,
I know that you are probably reading this and wondering where I am. I am on the roof. Ready to let myself go. I don't want to live anymore. Listen, I can't take the bullying anymore.

I start to run to the roof.

When people found out I was a lesbian, they called me a faggot, disgusting, ugly. I couldn't take it anymore. I started cutting. You just haven't noticed because of my hoodie.

Emma please stay with me! I started to cry.

Don't come, let me be happy, let me be free. No cares for me anymore. Not even my parents and family. I want to be gone for this terrible place.

I got to the roof to see Emma standing there on the ledge, ready to jump.

"Emma please! We can got through this!" I say my eyes started making rivers, "I can do anything!"

"There's nothing for me here. No one cares, no one likes me, no one loves me." Emma says and jumped off. I grab her arm, she tries to make me let go, but I was holding on for dear life. I pull Emma up and pull her into a hug.

"I-I care about you. I like you. I love you." I say crying on her shoulder, "Listen, life can bring you down but there's people like me who will pull you back up. People just like breaking amazing things..sadly you are amazing. You're the only one who understood me during my stupid breakdowns, you are the only one that can make me smile when even I couldn't."
