The next many weeks were filled with daily sessions of pain and suffering from the same man.

"Hail Hydra." The man would command to me, trying to force me into complying.

"I hailed. . . your mom last . . . night." My idiotic self replied, ignoring the sharp throbbing coming from all of the sore and scabbing marks covering my body.

After my memorable nearly three months with Hydra (who I thought Aunt Peggy and Grandpa destroyed with the ice-dude) in two spectacular torture-cells, I wasn't expecting rainbows and kittens when they moved me. I could barely see straight when I was dragged into a slightly larger suite, filled with two sets of bunks and . . . girls?

I blinked a few times, confirming the fuzzy thoughts slipping through my once genius level IQ. Three girls, all nearly identical, stood frozen as the torturer and his pal pushed me into my newest entrapment. As soon as the heavy door slammed shut, they rushed forwards, lifting me onto the lower bed of one of the bunks. Their words flew by quickly, my muddled brain only capturing a few.

". . . Worse. . . Ares. . . "

". . . Gonna . . . her. . . "

Black spots overtook my vision before I could make sense of anything and I slipped into a nightmarish void.

"Hey, Gnarly-Harley, you're gonna stay with me for a little while, how's that sound kid?"

"Where's dad?" I sat up from the couch quickly, "What's wrong, Uncle Rhodey?"

"I'm sorry, Harley. . . he was going to the expo in Afghanistan and . . ."

*

"Happy Birthday, Buddy."

"Love you, Dad."

"Love you too, Bud."

"You need to grow the hell up, Tony! I've been living with you for months and you don't do shit! You just-you-God! I hate you! You're just like her!"

"Don't! I didn't ask for this- I didn't have any warning, Harley! I signed away all of these years ago, but now suddenly I just have a kid-"

"I didn't want this either! I never asked for my teacher to give a crap! Or for her to hate me! Or for you!"

I woke up tense, expecting a slaughter of pain that usually arrived, only to find almost none. Yeah, I still felt dizzy and kind of crappy, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it had been. Nothing was ever that bad. Breaking my arm when I was twelve, getting appendicitis when I was seven, nothing could compare to what the torturer did.

I forced myself to sit up, gaining the attention of the three girls in the small cell. I cleared my throat, awkwardly flexing my limbs and eyeing the pink scars with wide eyes. What the hell?

"How do you feel?" One of the trio finally asked, wide-set blue eyes gazing at me. But her eyes, I realized, weren't just blue-they were cosmic almost, dark blue with . . . silver?

"How did you fix me? Nanotechnology? Some type of cyro-"

"I healed you." A new voice spoke up, this one belonging to the girl furthest from me, her features sharper than the others, eyes somehow purple.

I opened my mouth and shut it a few times, trying to wrap my head around it. It took longer than it should have, would have before Halloween. "Some form of experimental mutation then? Is that why they kidnapped me- us? Hydra, or some form of it, needs lab rats?"

The girls exchanged glances and the last one nodded. Her eyes were normal, though extremely sad looking- a murky brown color, like chocolate milk. I sighed to myself, running a hand through my hair, the dark brown locks tangled and matted with my blood. The girls didn't have any hair, just short fuzz around their scalps, like buzz cuts.

"You're taking this. . . surprisingly well." Purple-eyes noted, looking at me curiously.

"This has been the worst few months of my life," I deadpanned, looking up, "I've lost my mind, my body has been on fire for what feels like forever, and I was kidnapped by Hydra for fuck's sake, the big bad guys my dad used to use to scare me into eating my vegetables when I was eleven. But my life has been a series of shit storms, and this is just one more topping on the over piling Bullcrap Sundae."

For a moment, it was quiet, the girl's staring at me. "Well, at least you aren't being a wimp about it," Blue-eyes commented. "They call me Ares. That's Zeus," She gestured to the silent one, and then the last, "and Hermes. And you, are Hades."

I furrowed my brow, shaking my head as a headache built. It felt like such a strain to just process what they were saying. Everything felt clouded and distorted, but I forced myself to take a breath and speak. "My name is Harley Ray Stark. My dad is Tony Stark. My mom's name was . . . " No. I know this. . .

"It's okay, it happens to all of us. They drug the food. Soon, you won't remember any of it." Zeus comforted bluntly, kneeling in front of my bunk.

"This doesn't make any sense. Why take me if not for my brain or a ransom?" I asked, not really expecting an answer.

"Because they don't want us for our brains or our money," Ares explained her hands in tight fists. "They want us to be weapons. Project Olympus. Four identical people, but each holding different DNA, so that we react differently to the Procedure."

A low ringing started in my ears and I shoved my hair out of my face, trying to understand, my thoughts jumbled and slow. "They're . . . They're mutating us."

"Welcome to Hydra, Hades."
