"Jungkook! Taehyung! If you do not turn around right now I will drag your sorry asses back inside!!"
And so Jungkook and Taehyung ran and ran, they ran through the freezing cold rain that gave them hypothermia-esqe shivers and sprinted till they reached a battered old train station.
There stood 5 other boys, well you couldn't call them boys, not if you knew them well enough. One stood with posture similar to that of a large ox, with hair the colour of a strawberries and cream chuppa chup. He looked immensely uncomfortable, standing there rather awkwardly with a white bakers box bundled under his khaki cloaked arm. A beanie sheltered his head from the heavens downpour. His clear lack of co-ordination gave him the general disposition of a friendly giant. While his clear dimples gave away a smiley personality. His bomber jacket was dripping water and his leather oxfords had been damaged beyond the point of revival in the run from his own home. Clinging to his arm was another man with darker, more natural coloured hair.
His natural beauty in the form of to-die-for bone structure and a jawline that could cut diamonds, was clouded by a look of absolute misery and disapointment. His yellow and black striped hoodie was clinging to his defined chest and stomach. He was wearing a black, slogan printed sweatband that was slowly slipping its way to cover his striking, chocolate coloured eyes. He was cuddling into the firsts side and it was clear that they were, for lack of a better word, an item.
The next man had straight locks the colour of a bubblegum sundae. To white to be blue but to blue to be white. His ripped jeans simulated his swagger status and his scowl was enough to send a pitbull running in the opposite direction. His cuddly baby face was the only feature that suggest even a hint of softnesses in the hostile figures form. His leather jacket was practically a piece of machinery, equipped with strap, buckles and about a million silver adaptions and contraptions. He oozed street cred and he slumped against the train side shed as if the whole situation was beneath his presence. He only showed vulnerability when he glanced over to a certain individual with the only sunny expression in the setting.
This mans bright, eye burning smile was undeterred by the rain, the frankly dismal mood and the fact that the rain had no doubt damaged the most likely delicious contents... of the white bakers box. His dusty scarlet hair clung to his forehead and rested just above his sparkling eyes. His parka was covered in emojis from a lovey-dovey kitty-kat to a mischievous devil face. He was wearing dark haunting eyeliner that was starting to slowly drip down his immaculate cheekbones. His placement next to the previous man was the only area in this scene in which their was a modicum of joy or happiness. A dancers physique complete with a lean frame and a dizzyingly muscled set of arms and legs. His bright red chinos accent the heart eyes on an emoji placed directly over his own heart and his slightly tilted stance was oriented toward the man with the scary expression. A few feet away, glaring at the pavement and kicking at a small, undoubtably innocent pebble was a man with an outfit that appeared to be straight out of a grunge aesthetic.
Jeans, Black bomber with emo patches, suede shoes, oversized black and a 1996 band shirt he appeared to be from some era of edgy teens. His harsh and unkind expression didn't suit his chubby cheeks and we can only assume, once kind eyes. His slightly wavy, relatively long blonde hair was dusting his eyes. His small, muscular and lean frame was the clear result of hours of hard work and training. His delicate eyes were framed with kohl liner and his lips had a pinkish tint giving them that 'raw' look. He was anxiously fidgeting and tapping an unknown rhythm on the side of his denim clad thigh.
As soon as Tae and Jungkook entered all 5 of the men visibly relaxed and rushed to embrace the clearly rather traumatised other boys. Hobi threw himself at Tae and physically pushed the boy onto the cement laughing in pure relief. While Jimin and Jin searched Jungkook head to toe for scratches or bruises of any kind. Once there security check had been finished and a chuckling Yoongi had pulled Hoseok off of a winded Tae, they all gathered into a relief filled group hug. Thanking the lord for the fact that Tae and Kookie had made it out of their parents house with a few scarce belongings and a wallet full of money.
"YAYYYYYYYY!!" Shouted Hoseok as he bounced around the other boys practically glowing with excitement. All the other boys simply laughed with him except for Yoongi who kept shooting him rather intense looks that stopped Hobi in his tracks. They were happy and as they boarded the train getting away from the hell they once lived they felt a weight lift of them.
But that was then, and this is now.
