CHAPTER TWENTY

Liam and Arden raced into the precinct to get to the best vending machine first. Amanda chuckled as the ran past her for the 3rd time that week, she wondered if Olivia had noticed her children's high sugar intake everytime they got to her office.

Olivia walked out of an interrogation room and grabbed Arden's bag of skittles, "Ary you're not supposed to have that much sugar."

Their attention was drawn to a uniform officer escorting a man in handcuffs to the holding cells, the guy grinned over at Olivia before his eyes landed on Arden, "Hi cutie, I would shake your hand but ya know." He showed his hand, the twins notice his fingers were burnt. Instinctively Liv pulled her children closer to her.

He bit his lip and looked back to Liv, "is she yours?"

Olivia shuddered, "get him out of here."

"Keep walking." The uniform pushed him along faster.

He bit his lip and looked back to Liv, "is she yours?"

"Creepy." The twins said in unison once he was out of sight.

The squad noticed that Lewis case was really getting to Olivia since the day he looked at Arden like she was a piece of meat. They worked hard to convince her to go home and take some time.

Olivia was confused when she walked into a dark apartment.

"Guys?"

It was silent. She turned on the light and set all her stuff down.

"Liam? Arden? If you guys aren't here I'm gonna-"

Olivia turned an saw William Lewis walking towards her with his gun pointed at her.

"Welcome home lieutenant Benson."
