For the past 5 weeks you have been ignoring Lay in every possible way. You didn't answer his text messages and at school you'd walk away whenever he tried to approach you. What he had said about getting an abortion angered you and now you want nothing to do with him. He didn't support you in having the baby so you had to do it alone. You still hadn't told your parents and your time was running out. Your belly had grown and now you were trying to hide it by wearing oversized baggy sweaters. It worked for a while but there was only so much time until they found out.
It was 4 in the morning and you couldn't sleep. You were in your room turning back and fourth. You went downstairs to get some water and found your mother in he living room. Curiously you asked her what she was doing, she answered calmly and simply said nothing. You thought it wasn't a better time to tell her. The rain outside sounded peaceful and the darkness was calming. You got close to her and asked her if you could talk "about girl stuff". She said of course and you decided to lay it all out. At first he was shocked and mad but all of a sudden she calmed down. She didn't scream or even move. She just sat. The tension of the room grew and you started becoming uncomfortable. You questioned to yourself if it was the right thing to do but it was already done. There was no going back. We discussed our options and went down to the final two. Since it was too late to get an abortion, it was either keep it or put it for adoration. I was waiting for her to choose for me but I broke the silence and said I wanted to keep it. She supported me but said that we needed to let dad know. I was extremely scared of how he was going to react.
The next morning rolled along and my mother kept signaling for me to tell him. I gulped my cereal down and started to speak.
"Hey dad.." I said nervously.
"Um... I'm pregnant..." I whispered.
He didn't seem to hear me correctly so I spoke up.
"I'm pregnant"
I tried to hide my face with my hair because I was embarrassed to tell this to them. Especially since they were my parents and had always told me how wrong that was.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" He screamed
I stayed silent...
"YOU BETTER BE KIDDING OR ELSE!! WHO WAS IT! ANSWER ME RIGHT NOW!"
To be continued...
