Chapter 1

Sofia and Lucy were great friends who did anything together. They were inseparable. During school they only had a few classes together, but this was a usual thing ever since they started middle school.

After school Sofia would always bring a cupcake for her mom and dad. When she reached the house she noticed that the door was opened. As she entered her house her parents weren't home.

"That's strange they probably went out somewhere, but they didn't even leave me a note."

Days went by and there was no sign of Sofia's parents. When she asked around everybody said that their parents were missing. The sky turned dark and the ground was destroyed.

Nobody could go to school because there was no one to teach them anything. On one day Sofia went outside and noticed a strange figure next to the sewer. It's back was turned to her, but she didn't take any chances and ran inside of her house.

More figures crawled out one by one. When they were finally gone Sofia ran to Lucy's house to see if she was okay. As Lucy opened the door Sofia ran inside and started bombarding her with questions.

"Calm down it's okay I'm fine you don't have to worry."

"This is our 3rd year of high school and bad things have happened but that is not fine."

"Look I'll go look for some food since I ate all the food in the fridge." Lucy said with a slight grin on her face.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah I'll be fine I'm a fast runner."

When Lucy arrived to the supermarket she noticed a boy sitting on the floor with blood all over him.

She dragged him all the way back to her house forgetting all about the food.

"Where's the food?!"

"I kind if got side tracked by this biy

"Are you crazy he could have killed you!!"

"But I'm fine."

Whilst the girls were still arguing the guy woke up with a full loaded gun in his pocket.

He aimed it at Sofias foot. She fell to the ground within seconds.

Lucy just stood there shocked. She grabbed the gun out of his hand and aimed it at him with shaking hands.

He grabbed another gun out of his other pocket.

Sofia got up and kicked Lucy to the ground with a fully healed leg. She then kicked Lucy in the head knocking her out completely.
