This generation, where each day in our nation theres an average of over 5,400 suicidal attempts by young children and adolescents, but I understand, because to be honest who would really want to live in a world where you're picked on because of your likes, dislikes, weight, skin color and ethnic background. Where its socially unaccepted for you to love someone of the same gender, or where they paraphrase a book written thousands of years ago. Where somehow they forgot that God loves all his children. Where someone is told they're seeking 'attention' just because they hate themselves enough to take a blade to their beautiful skin, and where someone bullies a child to the point were they think that the only way out is to kill themselves. Where the victims of rape are suddenly accused of 'provoking' the attacker. The worst thing is people call this generation 'careless' and 'reckless', when really, they're only careless and reckless with themselves. Where they care so much about someone that they don't want to hurt them so they hurt themselves instead.This, is my generation.
