I was walking to class and suddenly I stopped, I read "Family Project" on the board. What does that even mean? "You may have a seat Maya" said Mr. Matthews, "Okay." I said. "Okay class, this project is the "family project" you each will be assigned a fake husband or wife, and you will be given a list of kids you need to adopt, one pet of your choice, a car, a house, and one key. If there is anything else you need you'll have to buy it yourself, you will be given 900$ so please spend it wisely, I will now read off the partners" Said Mr. Matthews as he explained the project.
"Riley And Farkle" "Sarah and Zay" "Dave and Jessica" "Darby and Yogi" "Lucas and Maya" Mr. Matthews continued the list, I Looked behind me, and Lucas already had been staring at me, "Yeah, I'll be at the end of the world." I said frowning. I ran, but Lucas Stopped me, "Be polite" Lucas said Smiling. "But I was!" I said pouting. Me and Lucas read our List, we had two girls and one boy, there names were "Jacy, Kacy, And Hayden." I said to Lucas. "Beautiful" Lucas Said. "Yes." I said Politely. "We have house 50" Lucas read. "Okay"
Later on, they took a field trip the the adoption center for kids and pets.
"alright everyone!, please get your kids, and pick out your pet." Mr. Matthews ordered.
One little girl was running and suddenly bumped into my leg.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to!" The little girl cried. "It's fine" I replied, "what's your name?" I asked the little girl. "Kacy, my twin sister Jacy's over there playing with our brother Hayden!" Kacy shouted smiling, "Well, I'm Maya, and me and my Husband would love to adopt you!, what do you say Kacy?" I said, "yeah, but what about my siblings?" Kacy said with a frown. "They're coming too!" I said Jumping, Kacy started to jump too, "YAY!!!!" Kacy smiled really big, "Hayden, you have to ride in a car seat." Lucas said while Bringing him to us. "I'M A BIG KID NOW!" Hayden said hitting Lucas. "Don't be a bad boy Hayden!" Lucas replied. "I see you've found Hayden already" Kacy sasses. Lucas widened his eyes looked at Kacy, looked at me, I gave him the "Just go with it" look. "KACY!" Jacy shouted. "Jacy!, these are our parents now!, Maya...?" "Lucas" said Lucas. "Lucas" Kacy said Smiling, Jacy looked happier than ever.
