Loki had woken up about 5 minutes ago and decided to read a little of his favorite magic book. His eyes glided swiftly across the lines of ink, as Sif tightened her grip on his waist. Loki smiled at the feeling of his wife embracing him, and feeling safe with him. Ever since they had been married both of their nightmares had stopped because they were able to comfort each other during the nights that they used to lay awake, not able to find any peaceful sleep. They were both resting much more soundly with the warmth of each other. Sif let out a blissful sigh, as her long eyelashes untangled from each other and fluttered open. She breathed out a shallow laugh and stretched her arms then draped them around Loki's torso again, "what are you reading Loki?"
Loki raised an eyebrow and turned to face his wife, "Just a magic book," he shut the tattered book softly and set it on his bedside table. He turned over to face Sif and brushed a piece of hair out of her face. "When was the last time I told you how beautiful you are?"
Sif blushed a fierce crimson, even though Loki had never stopped complimenting her since they had gotten married, "I'm not sure...probably last night before we went to bed," she said chuckling. "Well then it's been far too long," he planted a kiss on her collarbone, then brought his head up slowly. "You are," he kissed her on her neck,"the most," then kissed her on her cheek. "Beautiful," he kissed her on her lips sending a warmth throughout his whole body, he pulled away and looked her in the eyes, "Woman I have ever laid my eyes on." Sif put her soft, petite hand on Loki's face and caressed it with her thumb, then kissed him passionately, yet softly at the same time. Loki had never grown tired of her touch, and found himself getting carried away, placing his hand on her side.
When Ullr came bursting through the door followed by his older sister, Tryst. Loki and Sif quickly pulled apart from each other, Loki laughing softly. Tryst jumped up on her parents bed while Ullr had to be picked up by his mother to make it onto the soft comforter. Tryst climbed onto her father's chest and Loki tickled at her stomach. Ullr was cupped in his mother's arms, telling her about a dream he had had the night before. "Oh!" Ullr exclaimed, "Happy Mother's Day, Mother!" Sif smiled and brushed a raven piece of hair out of her son's face, "Thank you, baby," she said with a kiss on his cheek. Tryst had scrambled off the bed and scurried off toward the kitchen, then called back at her parents, "Mother! Father! Come quick, I have a surprise!"
Loki got out of bed and walked over to Sif's side scooping her up in his arms. Sif giggled at her husband carrying her to the kitchen, when she is very capable of walking on her own. "Is this really necessary, dear?" Sarcasm hinting in the last word.
"It is absolutely necessary. Today is Mother's Day, and seeing that you are a mother, everything today must be easy for you." He said smiling down at her. Loki walked the giggling warrior out the door of their bedroom and to the kitchen, as Loki set Sif down in her place, at the table, Tryst came walking over toward the table with two bowls of cereal. She set them down in front of her parents, and said very pleased with herself, "Mother's Day breakfast!"
"Why thank you, sweetheart!" Sif said, very pleased with her daughter's effort at making breakfast. Loki tapped his daughter on the nose, and said, "This is truly wonderful, princess."
Loki and Sif ate their delicious breakfast, then Ullr said, "Okay! My turn to show mommy my present!" Ullr hurried off to his room and came back carrying a small box, messily wrapped, with a golden bow. "Here! Mother!" Sif took the small box and unwrapped it carefully, inside was a bracelet with golden beads, made with a small piece of string. Sif placed the bracelet on her wrist and smiled brightly at her son, "it fits perfectly, Ullr. I love it." Ullr looked extremely pleased with himself, and hugged his mother.

Later that night Loki walked into his and Sif's bathroom, where Sif was adjusting her hair, which was in a braided bun behind her ear. Sif was dressed in a golden, silk gown, witch draped over her body, following her curves, to make it appear as if sun was dancing against her skin. Loki walked up behind her and placed his hands on her waist, and put his chin in the crook of her neck. Loki kissed her neck softly while she finished getting ready for their special Mother's Day dinner.
"Loki, darling." Sif said, "Can't this wait until later tonight?" She said giggling slightly.
"I can never resist you, my dear," he said trying to sound seductive but just sounding silly, so silly he couldn't even resist a laugh. Sif starting laughing also, at his attempt to sound romantic. Sif finished fixing her hair and turned around to face her husband, and ran her hands up the tuxedo covering his arms to rest draped across his neck. Loki leaned down to kiss the warrior when Ullr came into the bathroom to see them kissing, to witch he started screaming, "EWWWW! MOTHER AND FATHER ARE KISSING AGAIN!" He ran off to tell his sister.
Loki chuckled at his son, and caressed his wife's face. Fandral walked into the bathroom to see them standing without being able to take their hands off each other and wiggled his eyebrow at Loki, Loki then rolled his eyes and let his arms fall to his side. "We will be back around ten o'clock," Sif started explaining to Fandral, "The kids should be in bed by eight thirty, there are leftovers in the kitchen...and after the kids are asleep, help yourself to anything to keep you busy,"
"I will do my best to watch over your children, my friends. Now go! And have a nice night," the dashing blonde said, winking at Loki.
"Thank you fandral," Loki said handing him a small bag of coins. Loki put his arm around Sif and walked outside to a golden carriage waiting for them. Loki took Sif's hand and helped her into the carriage. The driver took them to a elegant, and romantic restaurant. Loki helped Sif out of the carriage and put his arm out for her too take. They walked inside the restaurant and were taken to their table. "Loki, this is far too much!" She said blushing. "Nothing is too much for you, my love," Loki said with all sincerity. The couple ate their fill plus dessert and once Sif had finished her strawberry cheesecake Loki took her hand. "Sif I have a present for you."
"Oh, Loki you must be joking, what in Odin's name, could you possibly add to this night to make it any better?" Loki pulled a small golden box out of his pocket and held it out across the table. He opened the box, and inside was a golden chain, with a small shiny heart attached to it. The heart was lines with small diamonds and glistened in the light. Sif's breath was taken away but before she could respond Loki turned it over to reveal an engraving on the back, "Loki & Sif forever and always." Sif placed her hand on her heart, "Loki, this is the most beautiful necklace I have ever seen." Loki stood from his seat and stood behind his wife, he placed the necklace around her neck. Sif turned around and Loki leaned down and placed his hand on the back of Sif's neck, then pressed his lips to hers. Sif crossed her arms over her husbands neck and kissed him slowly, softly, yet passionately. Loki knew he shouldn't show this much affection in a public place but he couldn't help himself. Sif pulled her lips away and placed her forehead against Loki's, "Loki, I love you so much."
"I love you too, Sif."
