My boyfriend Gavin's birthday is coming up soon, so today I went out to buy him a present. Just as I walked into Walmart, I see his smiling face. All he says is "Hey, babe!"
I stare at him in utmost shock. I can't beleive he's here!!!! I needed to say something to break the tension, so I said
"Hey, Gavin... I didn't think you'd be here." He just looked at me with that face that says 'I want to ask you something, but it's extremely personal and I don't want anybody to hear' so he just says "I knew you would shop for a present for my birthday today, and I kinda figured you would come here, so I booked the day off to tell you something." I was just so weirded out about the fact that he knew where I was going to be.
"Ok, what do you want to tell me?" I really just want to get this shopping done and over with.
"Just don't buy me a present, ok? I really just want to take us out for dinner and then sit at home and watch netflix, ok?" I love him too much to say no, so all I say is "Ok, I won't. Although we do need to get some shopping done..." He just shrugged and said "Ok, let's do it." And off we went into the abyss of people and food.
Later when we got home, I put some pizza in the oven, then we sat on the couch together, watching Hockey. I had so much on my mind, that I just had to ask him " What do you want to really ask me?" He looked at me and sighed. He grabbed my hand and then said " I want you that night. All of you. If you want to as well..." I stared at him. I wanted him as well, I just couldn't say it. I just nodded my head. He squeezed my hand as hard as he could, and then said "I love you so much, Babe. I always will." Then he pulled me in for a kiss. Even though I couldn't say anything, I still managed to kiss him properly. The timer on the oven went beep, and I was so startled, I accidentally bit his lip. He pulled away, and said "I'll cut up the pizza. You've already done enough today." I just sat there on the leather couch, shocked. I watched The Canucks score, then I regained to my usual self, and shouted "GO CANUCKS!!!!!!!!!" I had never heard Gavin laugh louder before.
