I leaped into the sky
returning empty handed
so I wondered why?
"Things aren't meant to be
so easily found
when they shine" he said;
"Shine requires sacrifice"
Maybe it meant I had yet to climb
a shimmering mountain with traps
and ice
And it was not long before
I sat and looked at the horizon
watched the stars above
And thought: Maybe I should
follow the light again"
