The Trojan Camp: Battle by the Sea

Chapter Three

Sera's P.O.V.

      It felt good to be back at camp after that long needed break after battling Lycan and Medusa and losing my boyfriend temporaroily can really do some damage to a person.

     I was walking into the camp gates right now and all I wanted to do was hug Chase now that I could and I didn't have to stare into stone eyes. And ride Archer around the beach again. 

     "Sera!!!!!!!!!!!!" I heard a very familar voice yell out from a distance, it was Briar(who else).

    "Hey Bri-", I say as she jumps on me, unfortunately she knocked me over which in turn knocked over Hudson and Chase who were bro hugging(Awkwardly hugging like lovers and waiting for the other to pull away, but both enjoying it).

      "Hello Sera", Briar says so casually while getting up from tackling me and the boys.

      The other campers were used to us, well Briar tackling me when a break was over or we had been seperated. Then there was the boys who just shook their heads at us when they got up. Then there was our other friends how also shook their heads at us.

     "Sera!!!!!!!" Chase said also jumping on me.

     "Really the two of you are crazy", I says to them as I get up from the ground again after being knocked down again.

    "I just missed you a lot while we were gone", He said kissing my cheek with the cutest smile on his face that made me smile, but made Hudson and Briar gag, then kiss too.

      Then after that I go see my siblings and then there is a welcome back campfire for the kids who left, many stayed because of family reasons or they just felt safer staying at camp over the holidays and most of winter. Luckily many campers stayed so they celebrated the holidays demigod style(Which wasn't that different from what mortals do, but with more swords and fist fighting).

      "Welcome back to camp demigods, hope you had a  great break and for those of you who stayed we all hope you enjoyed staying here", Our camp leader Mr. Yates said to us as we were all just sitting down around the campfire and just began talking with the benches around us.

      "Now on to more important news about the new year after what happened the past years we would like to try and find some new demigods for our camp, which would include some of you being trained for the outside world", Ms. Avila says to us as many of us are looking very excited.

     My friends and I share a look that say 'we should tell them about the note' then we all nod at each other to go talk to the camp leaders after the campfire. After the campfire we go to see the camp leaders to talk about the note from the Sirens that we got after home from our last 'journey'.

     "So you got a letter from the long banished Siren's that just got their banishment lifted and they decided to send a letter to you, to ask you to come to see them", Mr. Cross said as a really goofy look came upon his face, my friends and I tried not to laugh at his goofy face.

     "Yes and I think we should go", Briar says to the camp leaders as they turn to discuss between them selves.

     "You can go, but there are some things that we must tell you about the Siren's", Ms. Avila says to us as they guide us to sit down under the pine tree by the Hera cabin, since we had been walking the entire time back to camp with the rest of the camp.

Briar's P.O.V.

      "The Siren's were banished to a part of Mount Olympus that only the gods know how to enter, their banishment lasted many thousands of years beause they wouldn't have anything to do with Zeus", Ms. Avila said with slight smile on her face.

    The four of us decided to do some more research on the Siren's and why they would invite Sera to see them after we all took down Medusa. We figured out that they might want to kill Sera to get rid of anyone stoping them in doing whatever they were going to do. Chase being the idiot that he was thought that they wanted to  throw a surprise party for us when we got there to congraulate us for killing the Gorgons.

      "Well I still think we should go to see what they want", Sera says to the team when we have read all the books possible on the Siren's. The rest of the team nods in agreement.

    "Well there will need to be some precautions set in place so none of you fall under their spells", Ms. Avila says from behind us in the corner of the library.

     "What kind of precautions?" I ask getting scared, like would we need to put wax in our ears?

     "Just putting some new earbuds that Mr. Cross made so you can still hear each other,but not the Sirens", She says with that overly cheery smile on her face, it was a welcome change from the grim looks that were on many of the campers, including the team and myself.

     After that event we went for a ride on our horses who had not been out in literal months while we were gone. It a warm and slightly muggy afternoon and we now all had smiles on our faces except Sera, I could tell the whole ordeal with the Gorgons got to her head.

Sera's P.O.V.

      Ever since the Gorgons I have felt different, seeing the person you love getting turned into stone and lookin into his frozen eyes can be scary, but I  have to look forward into the future and what the Sirens want with the team. Now it was time to prepare to leave for the Siren's lair.

    "Now we have to be ready, I don't anything to happen. Like what happened at the last lair we went to", I say to the team that was going with me. 

    The others nod at me when I tell them what we were going to do, I had no idea someone was listening and would then use our tactics against us later on.
