Hayden's P.O.V

Today was moving day, to North Carolina with dad and my best friend Melodey.

"Hayden, Melodey time to leave." My dad yelled

Melodey was moving with us because her and her parents weren't getting along. So she had to leave, as soon as my dad got the job in North Carolina there was no waiting for a response she was moving with us and that was final. My dad's pretty chill about this stuff.

We're coming dad. Melodey yelled

She called him dad now no point in calling him by our last name or his first. We adopted her just two days ago.

It was time to leave, leave Missouri to North Carolina. A new start, for me and Melodey, I guess we were 'popular' me being a girl in the guys group her in just the 'popular' group. Are other best friend, Ally well she said she try visiting us as much as possible her dad was strict. Then my bestest guy friend of all Corey, we're close.

We were packing up the car since the moving truck already took the big items to the new house. Ally and Corey showed up at my house, I was bawling by this point I had to leave two out of three best friends. Corey told me to text and call and FaceTime him everyday same with Ally, I was gonna miss them. Corey was practically my brother I told him everything and he told me everything and he lost what he thought was the love of his life, Brittany, she used him for his best friend Parker, I mean Corey wasn't bad looking at all brown hair, medium height, and green eyes. Brittany likes Parker for only two reasons his looks and his popularity, enough said. Anyways, I was close to all the guys is I really don't know I am in the middle of tomboy and girly, I cheered allstar and collegient, I was really into football though knew all the teams players everything. I played with the boys as much as possible.

As soon as I closed my car door I curled up into a bawl and cried myself to sleep knowing I was leaving my bestest friends except Melodey.

"Hayden wake up, HAYDEN WAKE UP" Melodey screamed

What!!! I responded

"We're at chipotle" Melodey said

With that I was first one out of the car, I was in there in less than a second. We got our food ate and we were back on the road. I feel asleep and an hour later we were there my new home. It was huge me and melody shared a huge bedroom, imagine two giant bedrooms put together with a HUGE and I mean huge walk in closet and again a ginormous bathroom a side for her and a side for me, it was perfect. Me and Melodey's room was all ready decorated and organized except for a couple things.

My dad told us he was going to go over to the neighbors to get Truffles our Australian Shepard. Me and Melodey told him we would go get her since 1. He just drived and needs a break 2. To meet the new neighbors and 3. Maybe make some new friends. Easy enough, right?

I knocked on our new neighbors door, well I mean we're technically their new neighbors. We waited about 2 minutes when someone answered the door.... My mouth almost dropped open but I had to keep my cool, it was Will Grier, I was a huge fan of Hayes's and the rest of the magcon boys but mostly Hayes, while Melodey on the other hand loved Matthew. Will told us hi and we told him we were the new neighbors and was there to pick up our dog Truffles. They were dog sitting her, my dad already came down and met them so they talked and they said it was alright if Truffles stayed with them while we were moving. Will's eyebrows went up like he didn't know what we were talking about then looked like he remembered.

"I'll be right back" Will said then left us waiting at his front door step

I heard someone ask him who was at the door then saw Nash, I was so nervous that it felt like my heart was coming out of my chest each time it beat.

"Hey" Nash said and smiled at us

He called down the rest of the family to meet us, they invited us to dinner with, since they probably guessed we had no food. They guessed right, my dad said he would have to go to the grocery store tomorrow. They said 6:00 sharp, me and Melodey just laughed at there statement, I guess the whole family was funny.

It was now 6:00 I was wearing my nike sweats, nike tenni shoes, and just a Memphis t-shirt I was born and raised in Memphis, TN I missed it so much I love it there. I had my long brunetteish reddish hair in a ponytail, I put my nike headband on and my glasses, I grabbed my iPhone 5s.

[A.N: I actually do have an iPhone 5s, I'm not trying to brag in this book that I'm rich, don't want to offend anyone what so ever, enjoy reading]

Melodey wore nike running shorts nike slides a t-shirt and elite socks she kept her brunette hair down and grabbed her iPhone 4s

[A.N: again same this person actually has this type of phone]

My dad wore a blue and white plaid button up, jeans and some nike running shoes

When we arrived at the Grier residence dinner was still being cooked, Elizabeth told me and Melodey to go downstairs where the boys were, we agreed and headed downstairs. Their house was so big me and Melodey almost got lost just going downstairs! As soon as we got down there we were greeted by Hayes we introduced each other and went over to Nash. While Nash and Melodey had a conversation me and Hayes talked.

H:hey

HG:sup, so how old are you exactly

H: 13 turning 14 in September

HG:cool I'm 13 turning 14 in June, what grade you in

H: 7th, and you

(and thought to myself why did you just ask that you know everything about him your a huge fan remember)

HG:same, same what sports do you play if you play any

H: I do cheer allstar and collegient, but I'm really into football, what about you?

HG: I play lacrosse and do football, wanna play sometime?

H: well duh I'm up for any competition

And with that our conversation was interrupted by Elizabeth telling us dinner was ready. For dinner we had salad, steak, twice baked potatoes, and green bean casserole, my favorite meal, ever. During dinner we just talked about normal stuff like when school started for me and Melodey and stuff like that, and I'm pretty sure my dad and Mr.Floyd are best friends now. For dessert Elizabeth made cheesecake, I told her she outdid herself and that the dinner was amazing because she made everything me, Melodey, and my dad loved. The adults told us to go back downstairs while they talked and cleaned up. Me and Hayes went back to our conversation

H:so who do I talk to at school and who do I stay always from

HG:we'll talk to me obviously, and my friends, stay away from Victorias group even though she is popular and stuff she is mean, she acts like we're dating, and we're not!!! She's something else, *cough slut cough*

H:okay okay now that's pretty funny

HG: oh and here's my number

H:(we put each other's numbers into one another's phone and put names for each other)

Hayes's name was put in as ( HAAAAAS<333) for my self I put in (HayHay *with a football emoji*)

That whole night all I could think was, I like her.
