Jungkook x Yein

Season changed, and it was their third autumn together. They both agreed that autumn was their favorite season. It was not too hot or too cold-even though Jungkook always argued that autumn was cold, as cold as winter.

"It is because you didn't dress up properly!" said Yein as she slapped Jungkook's shoulder lightly when she found out her boyfriend only wore T-Shirt and denim jacket.

Jungkook put his hands on his pocket, nodded silently and let her put a scarf on his neck. Yein loved to nag at him for simple things-like how he forgot to bring hot packs in winter days (Yein thought hot packs were must-item on winter days), or how he intentionally skipped breakfast ("You realize how important breakfast is, don't you?" asked Yein), or how he always slept late and let out a big yawn when he met her in the morning (Yein asked, "You didn't sleep enough, did you?"). Yein was always like that, but he never got tired of her. Not even a second.

Jungkook sat on the park bench and waited for Yein who went to convinience store for a few minutes in that afternoon. They didn't meet each other everyday-since both of them were normal college students, a pile of tasks were always waiting for them; besides they weren't on the same major. Both of them agreed that they should meet at least once a week, and this was that day of the week.

Ten minutes passed by, Jungkook saw Yein cheerfully walked towards him, with 2 scoops of ice cream on her hand.

"Really? Ice cream on this chilly weather?" Jungkook raised his eyebrows in disbelief as he accepted the ice cream that Yein gave.

"It's never too cold for an ice cream." said Yein. She sat down in front of him and gave all her attention to her strawberry ice cream. Her eyes shut tightly in a cute way as she felt creamy strawberry melted on her tongue. Without she even realized it, Jungkook stared at her fondly.

The way she acted like a cute little kid when she got excited, the way she always formed a crescent-shape on her eyes when she smiled, the way her eyes would sparks fly when she talked about her interest-her perfect teeth which looked like a bunny, her addictive laugh...he thought, she was just like him. She was like the girl version of him.

Jungkook cleared his throat and shook his crazy thought off. "So, I went to library yesterday, and I read about this myth." Oh, bullshit. He couldn't shake it off.

For a moment Yein looked up, with her curious eyes she asked, "Hm? And?"

"There is a belief that-that if a couple look like each other very much, they are soulmate." said Jungkook, his eyes only had one focus, and it was Yein's.

"And...?" asked Yein. She still didn't quite follow Jungkook's conversation. They were enjoying ice cream and all of sudden he talked about myth. At first she thought she might get a brain-freeze, but no, she didn't get a headache. Unless, the definition of brain-freeze changed-it was the time when your mind could not thinking about anything because the ice cream was just too delicious. If it was so, so maybe Yein got a brain-freeze (she really adored the strawberry flavor!)

"Do you realize that we look like each other a lot?" said Jungkook. Yein automatically burst into laughter. Jungkook looked at her and waited patiently for her to stop laughing. Why not? He enjoyed the view in front of him anyway.

"Do we?" asked Yein finally. She crossed her arms on the table, looked at Jungkook directly to his eyes, and smiled from ear to ear.

"Well, I read it on a myth section. But I personally have different term for it." said Jungkook, also smiled from ear to ear.

Yein raised her eyebrows in curious, her smile didn't disappear from her face, she asked, "And what is it?"

"Destiny."
