"I can't breathe right now knowing that your love for my daughter is worth you career!" Ellis screamed at Derek with a finger in his face.
"Somethings are worth fighting for chief." And stormed out but before leaving he added "respectfully."
Meredith was right down the hall on the floor with her head buried in her knees sobbing. Derek heard the commotion. Right now, in Time his only job was to hold her. To cherish her. There was no head trauma that he could handle right now. He kept forwarding the pages to 'shadow Shepard' as everyone called Doctor Jim Nelson. Derek squated down next to her and put an arm around her back. He pushed his face into the crick of her neck and whispered "I love you." She pulled her head up and met his lips whispering back into his mouth "I Love you t-" but was cut off by the moan of Christina declaring "no pda in the hallway," she laughed as she awaited next to Meredith, Christina had a lunch date with Meredith and was ready to go eat after a long surgery and a boring one with Teddy. The first one that took up a large amount of time was a tumor resection. The boring one was a quadruple bipass. Sewing in circles, Chris would refer to it as.
"I just got done and am hungry, I hate to ruin 'lover meets mommy' and all but Momma gots to eat." She said pointing at the elevator.
"I'm coming, I'm coming" Meredith said wiping the final tears away from her cheek. Meredith met Derek once they were both in a upwards motion. He kissed her cheek and she left with Christina.
"So mommy doesn't like big fancy neurosurgeon?" She said dramaticly waving her hands around.
We hopped into the elevator and hit the button for the cafeteria.
"She thinks I'll get distracted." I laughed pointing at my head and rolling my eyes.
"Well there was that time, with the 'I choose Addison' and you kinda had a mental break down time," he said in her best 'look I'm a dumbass' voice.
"Well she cant judge me because crazy freak outs about boys run in the family!" I say in reference of the time my mother tried to commit suicide.
"Like your shrink said Mer' she wanted attention not death." As the elevator dinged and we continued in our hunt for food. We got here and Christina said, "hot redhead 12:00 o'clock" I turned and walked backward cause that not obvious.
"Hi, let us be civil and not j- walk a across the cafeteria Grey?" Said the devilishly beautiful red
headed Addison Forbes Montgomery.
"Yes mam," I say awkardishly saluting her.
"Okay and drop th ma'm because you did/ are sleeping with my exhusband. Making you like 12 and is 23." She ended our conversation in the realization of non of it making sense and going our deprecate ways. I grabbed a MONSTER energy drink because I had a surgery with Derek in about and hour and a half and after this quick lunch with Chris I was on prep. When I looked up I was shocked..
