I groan at the sound of my 5:30 am alarm, forgetting that I decided to set it so I could actually dress cute for school. Much to my dismay, I got out of bed and decided I should take a shower, grabbing my towel I headed to my bathroom, turned on my Spotify and jumped in to get my day started. After taking the longest shower known to man, I begin to put the clothes I had laid out last night, a mint green skater skirt with a white blouse tucked in and my white converse. I decided to make small beach wave curls in my hair with my curling wand and leaving my makeup natural, looking at the clock I realize it is already 7:00 so I grab a granola bar and head out the door to start my Dodge Dart. A lot of people would believe this would be way too early to head to school but I have a 10-minute drive around my neighborhood to pick up my girls and a 30-minute meeting with the dance team. I pack my book bag and my dance bag into the trunk, plug my phone into my aux as my best friend Megan hops into the car.

"Hey girl, long time no see," I said with excitement as I hadn't hung out with my best friend in days.

"Hey love, you know I love you but why must you make us have these early morning meetings" She replied, this was typical Megan wasn't a morning person especially when it's a Friday it's her I don't care day.

"Meg, relax okay it's a 30-minute meeting, then an hour practice after school then the party of a lifetime at mine," I told her as we made our way to our bestie Sophia's house.

"Yasss girl are we all getting ready at yours?" She asked me, even though she very well knew the answer to that question.

"Of course," I replied as I honked the horn to let Sophia know I was here.

"Hola, my beautiful chicas!" Sophia said as she climbed into the car, she seemed very chipper this morning I wonder if she had met someone, that's a question for later though.

"You seem chipper today, any reason for that?" I said as I continued driving to Sydney's house.

"Uhhh...No, and why does there have to be a reason for me to be happy in the morning?" Sophia said as she answered my question

"Well... that's because you're not a morning person and you're never chipper at this time of day," I said as pulled over at Sydney's house, allowing her to get into the car.

"Wassup my peeps, how you doin' this fine morning," Sydney said as she climbed into the back of my car.

"Well apparently, I'm not allowed to be happy at this of time morning," Sophia responded.

"Who said that you couldn't be happy?" Sydney asked her.

"Apparently I did, because I asked her what had her all chipper since she isn't a morning person," I replied as I turned into our school's parking lot.

"So...who's all invited tonight?" Megan asked me but before I got the chance to respond Sophia and Sydney bombarded me with questions.

"Uhh, are we missing something?" Sydney asked me.

"What are we doing tonight Dani?" Sophie asked, oops I guess I forgot to tell them about my party tonight.

"Well tonight, I am having the party of the year at my house, and the entire school was invited so get ready to get drunk and live life," I responded to the girls as we got out of the car and headed to the gymnasium. We entered the school and continued on our way to the gym. When we arrived and saw that all the girls on the team were sitting there waiting for us, which is normal since we take the longest to get to the school on most days. I figured I should begin the meeting considering school starts in 20 minutes. As I began to explain to the girls that we had to create a new routine for next week's game to the song 'Too Much to Ask' by Niall Horan. I knew this was a lot to do in seven days but I also know my dance team and we can handle it, and we need to if we want to go to nationals this year, we need to be focused. As I discussed the practice schedule for the next couple of weeks I hadn't realized that my boyfriend, Eli, had entered the gym behind me until all the girls began to stare at something that wasn't their captain. I turned around to see what was so important, and all I saw was a bouquet of white roses and a pair of feet that I recognized as Eli's. I kissed his cheek and whispered a thank you as I turned back around to dismiss the girls to go to their lockers. After everyone had left the gym I began to talk to Eli and we walked hand in hand to my locker.
