Amelia finally comes, and I smile as I see her. She looks stylish as always.
"Hey Amelia."
"Hello Penelope, ready for some retail therapy."
"But I don't need therapy?"
"It's just a figure of speech smarty-pants, how the hell did you get to stay in Erudite?"
We both laugh and go inside, getting a lemonade before we go.

"Ooooh how about this one?" Amelia said to me. We had gone to so many stores, but Amelia was still going strong.
"Or this one, it goes with your blue eyes. It would also go with a cat eye." She held it by the coat hanger and examined it further, showed it to me, then putting it on her arm with about 5 others. This one was plain navy blue and tight with long sleeves and some silver sequins. Amelia had a way with makeup and clothes. I decided to give in.
"I'll try on one Amelia, but just ONE!" I said, exaggerating the word 'one'. Amelia beamed and held up the tight one. I forced a smile and took it and changed.
I came out a few minutes later. Amelia looked like she had just seem the boy from the bus stop, and clapped her hand together over her mouth.
"You look so pretty!" She beamed. I hadn't even looked in the mirror myself, and I did. I couldn't believe it was me, it looked tight and mature, but didn't show off too much.
"How much?" I asked, and Amelia walked over and checked the price tag.
"Yay! Sale, just $34.99! And it's imported from Amity with the finest natural materials!"
"Wait! Did you just say 'Just $34.99?!?" I said. I couldn't afford that. Just then the clerk walked over. She looked as is she should just write '2fab4you' on her forehead.
"It looks good on you." She said "you should buy it, great for parties." I raised an eyebrow. I wasn't the partying sort. Instead, I just smiled.
"Thankyou, but I can't afford it. I'm going to go change now." I walked into the change room, changed, and then walked out with Amelia.
"It was a nice dress." Amelia said. "It looked great on you." I smiled. I would've bought it, but I just couldn't afford it.
