I yawned as I stretched up towards the ceiling, tired from all the school work I was trying to catch up on. It was only three in the afternoon and I was already about to take my third nap of the day.

I shut my books and my laptop before I snuggled up under my blanket.

"Nope! Not another nap wake up we are going to chipotle!" Ary yelled at me as she opened the bedroom door.

I groaned and threw my pillow at her before throwing the covers off me and swinging my long legs over the side of the bed.

"You know you are the worst roommate. I just want a nap" I joked while putting on my socks.

"I beg to differ, because I am offering food and I know the only thing you loved more than napping is food." She stood next to my bed with her hands on her hips waiting for me to finish putting on my shoes. When I finally stood up she quickly turned away from me and marched towards the kitchen to grab the key to our small apartment.

"Ya know we should really decorate this place, like make it look more 'us'." Ary said looking at our living room.

We had a beige couch provided by Ary's parents and our TV sat on three boxes of things we still hadn't bothered to unpack from when we moved in two years ago.

I met Ary on my first day of AP calculus my freshman year of college. About two months after we met we decided to ditch our dorms and move in together. She was a very interesting person, she was small about 5'0 but her personality made up for it.

"Come on lazy pants we gots to go get food or I'll starve," she joked as we walked out of our building. On our short walk to Chipotle Ary was telling me about how some new girl who transferred joined the dance team and was trying to steal her dance partner, Josh.

-

"So she came from Texas?" I asked while taking a bite out of my burrito.

"Yes, and she's got a cute ass little southern accent and it's pissing me off because I think Josh likes it more than mine." She pouted taking a sip from her Dr. pepper.

"Ary don't let yourself down, I know you like Josh cause that man is a full course meal" she made a humming sound agreeing with me. "If he doesn't think your Boston accent is cute then fück him! Not literally though." I retorted.

Ary giggled and continued telling me about the dance team and how much she hated this new girl while I scrolled through my phone. I answered a few business emails before shoving my phone back into my pocket listening to Ary talk.

I looked around the small Chipotle restaurant observing the people and the decor. A group of what looked like high school kids sat in the booth by the window, laughing and throwing straw wrappers at each other. It made me laugh, I remember high school like it was yesterday, some of my best memories.

Ary snapped her fingers in my face to get my attention. "Hello? Have you been listening?"

"Oh shit yeah i'm sorry I got distracted. Continue please I'm listening." I placed my head in my hand, giving her my full attention.

"Well I said Harrison is meeting us here because apparently you can't answer his texts." She giggled at me as I frantically got out my phone to check my texts, I had received four texts from my boyfriend asking me if I wanted to meet him for lunch. Woops.

"Fuck I'm a horrible girlfriend." I looked up at the ceiling before putting my face in my hands. I sighed and looked at Ary who was amused by my actions.

"Calm down that boy is whipped on you, honestly you could probably shatter his phone and he would still be like 'it's okay snookums I still wuv you' " she joked while making kissing noises. I laughed at her and threw a napkin at her head.
