(Stefan’s P.O.V)

“Wow….” “I know I didn’t know what to say, I just let her run off” “Well surely there has to be hope, Caroline cant stay this angry for so long” “I don’t know” “What do you mean?” There was a long pause……

“Stefan?” Katherine said. “What do you mean” Elena said. “I did some research and I found that there were a lot, an abnormal amount of people getting mauled be animals in Europe dating back…..50 years.” Stefan said directly. “Wait you mean to tell me Blondie switched it off 50 years ago and has had it switched off ever since?” Damon said not quite believing it. “What I mean to tell you is that over 50 years ago Caroline swithced it off and has killed a lot of people since then so when she decides to flip the switch back on…I don’t know how shell handle knowing how many people she killed. “How many?” Katherine asked. “I don’t know I couldn’t find all of them, but definitely over 100 people.” Stefan said with a tint of regret in his voice. “I really cant believe that Caroline could do that, its so…..me” Katherine stated with a poker face. “we cant think of it as Caroline doing these things, she has her emotions turned off right now this is like the other side of Caroline that was buried deep within her. This Caroline has no remorse, regret, grief. She doesn’t care how her actions will affect other people. She’s like me when I was a ripper and her attitude towards things are what Katherine used to and still kind of are.” Stefan quoted. “So basically she’s let the monster out” Elena said with sadness in her voice. “I cant believe I did this to her. Everytime something happened I was so focused on how it affected me I never even thought how it would affect Caroline. Im such a terrible friend.” “Elena you cant blame yourself-“Stefan was interupted by Katherine. “do you sriously think this wasn’t elenas fault. She was the one that Caroline was always second best to and you always excluded her and used her for Klaus bait. That’s how she got close to Klaus and that’s how they got together and what happened there oh yeah Tyler found out and broke up with caroline, well I cant really say much on that topic. So elena this is all your fault.” Katherine stated with a sly smile. “History is repeating itself. Elena does something wrong people tell her it isnt her fault Caroline somehow gets mushed into the midle of it and she get hurt and no one notices how hurt she is. Yeah you guys were the best friends Caroline could ask for.” Katherine lectured. Everyone was silent and didn’t quite know what to say, did they really do this to Caroline? And how did they not notice- well that’s obvious its caroline she was the best at self control infact she was too good. No one could of noticed Caroline was unhappy. “um when Caroline dissapeared I lied about the last time I saw her. We had a fight and she just took off.” Elena fessed up. It was silent again. “wait….” Damon looked like he was thinking about something. “What was the fight about?” “does it matter Damon?” “well stefan it might” “we um… we fought about her and Klaus” Elena forcably answered. “She got really angry at me because I wasn’t in a potition to critisize her. She walked out and said to not expect seeing her for a while and she left.” Elena fessed up and sat down. “So basically you were critisizing her about screwing klaus when you were draggin damon and stefan along and saying you loved both of them.” Katherine said while walking around and looking confused. “Hypocrite much” Katherine finished with. “Shut up Katherine you once travelled inside of me you cant critisize me” Elena said looking away. “Well then why cant you look me in the eye?” Katherine pointed out. “ohh things just got interesting” Damon said with a smug smile. “It really is interesting watching doppelgänger’s fight and insult each other when they are basically the same person” Katherine and Elena shot damon a death stare. “Ok then clearly not a time to make jokes” Damon said. “Damon shut up, if Caroline turned off her humanity because of elena critsizing her about Klaus then maybe that’s what will make her turn it back on” Stefan stated. “Its worth a shot” Katherine inquired. “Doesn’t that mean I have to fight with her again? Because she might actually kill me, stake and everything” Elena said. “Well it wasnt nice knowing you” Katherine said getting a drink. “No ones going to die Elena, just maybe get severely injured” Stefan said as he let out a sigh. “Well lets start plan A” Damon said.
