Hi guys!!!!!!! Apologies for my very long delay, but here is the first chapter of a totally different story than my previous one Second Chances. Ok so here it is and I hope you like it.

''Hello?'' I picked up my cellphone irritatedly and listened for an answer to whom would have called me at such an inconvenient time. Something flickered at the other end, and then I heard my friend's sobbing. ''I don't mean to interrupt Jack, but...'' he trailed off when he let out a little cry. ''What is it?'' I snapped, aware that everyone's eyes were upon me, boring holes in me like screw drivers. I decided to step out of the room.''It's your brother, William, he...'' and once again a weeping noise filled my ear as I listened intently for more detailed explainations. Daniel sniffed, once, then twice, then three times, and when I was about to hang up on him, he quietly said,''A police officer just called me yesterday, he told me they had found his car at the bottom of a lake,'' he continued.''Well what's that supposed to mean?'' I snarled, still oblivious to what his urgent discussion was leading too.''Jack, they also found Will's body.'' I froze, my blood went cold. The last thing we did together before he passed away was fight. I never could have said goodbye to him. I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. Trembling, I sat down on a sofa with pink embroidered swirls.''Oh my God'' I whispered. Everything around me was like a blurr. I felt frail, and dizzy when Daniel brought me back to my senses.''Jack, you know he has a daughter, Arianna,''
''Yeah?'' I swallowed, restraining my tears.
''And you know that her mother passed away due to tuberculosis?'' I was quiet, trying to figure out things in my head. Meddling with the idea of my brother and his wife being dead. Finally I replied,''Who'll be Arianna's guardian?'' That's when it was Daniel's turn to be silent. It took him a few moments to gather himself together. ''That's the main reason why I called you, you're her Godfather.'' I felt like I was going to pass out for the second time that day.
