Part 9 - An Old Photograph

Krist doesn't talk too much to Pim at work since that day, not because he doesn't like Pim making a move on him, but because the girls seem trying to invade his privacy. He tries to avoid the girl when it comes to a personal matter, but the girl doesn't give up easily.

She came to visit Krist in his house on her day off, bring him some food, discusses her personal matters, and sometimes asked Krist to sing for her, trying to get his attention using a very neat trick.

"I'm feeling blue today, let's visited the Pub again tonight, will you?"

"No, I don't feel want to drink tonight. You may ask the other to go with you." Krist politely refuses.

"Fine, then let's just buy a drink and some snacks, and meet up in your place since tomorrow is a Friday, what do you say?"

Krist doesn't know how to deal with this girl cause he doesn't wanna hurt the girl's feelings since Mook, but he really wants to spend time with Singto since they only can have a conversation with each other at night after work.

Every time Pim came to visit, Singto always locked himself inside the room and avoided having any interaction with him. To be honest, Krist finds it harder to deal with Singto when he is upset than with Pim who insists. It was not easy for Krist to shorten the distance between him and Singto, but every time Pim came between them Singto will pulling the distance again, so he don't want that to happen again.

"Let's go to the pub, then!" Krist talks moody. "But, I'll leave before ten, so you able to catch on the bus and head home. I also have work waiting for me at home," he says clearly.

"Ow.." Pim sighed, she sound very disappointed. "Alright, I won't bother you. May I visit another time?" she pleads, Krist smiled a little and nodded.

So after they finished the work, they go to the usual Pub again, but this time they take a seat at the table near the wall. While waiting for the drink and food, Pim excused herself to go to the toilet. Meanwhile, Krist feel boring and decided to observe the room, he look around at the people, the hanging, the drawing, the mini bar, and lastly he look up to the wall on his left side and saw the old photographs.

Suddenly his eyes caught on something that attract his attention, some of which are photos of Singto. One of them showed him playing the piano and the other just stood behind the counter. He guessed the place must be in the music gallery because he could see some musical instruments around.

He suddenly becomes curious as he remembers this pub exactly was a music gallery where Singto works. He then gets up and walks to the mini bar to talk to the bartender who is also the owner of the pub.

"Excuse me, do know something about those photos?" Krist pointing to the wall.

"No, the photo was already there when I first opened this Pub."

"Never was moved?"

The owner shook his head. "I think it has a story, so I won't bother to move it. Besides, it quite fits the Pub theme, doesn't it?"

"Of, course." Krist nodded in agreement. "I heard this place was a music gallery before this?"

"Oh, really? I don't know about it, it was empty when I first bought it, only left with those old photos on the wall."

"May I know who is this place's previous owner before you?"

"Yeah, I still save his address." The Pub owner opens one of the drawer below the counter and search it for a while and take out a name card handing it to Krist. " It's been more than ten years, I don't know if you were able to find the old guy at the address, but wish you good luck."
