"Yes I'll be there soon" I said through my phone before hanging up and tossing it on my bed.
I hate working with those obnoxious people. They expect everything to be handed to them. They treat me like I'm a Genie and what they say gets handed to them easily.
They have no idea how hard my job is, and none of them appreciate it. I've worked with Drake,Rihanna, Justin, Beyoncé and many other celebrities. But not once did I ever get a thank you from them. I'm the reason why they're what they are. I'm the money maker, I'm the one who writes them all their successful hits. If it wasn't for me, they wouldn't even have one hit, since they all suck at songwriting and always beg me for help.
The main reason why I'm still putting up with these idiots is because I get paid a lot, and I love writing music, but not for these freaks.
I shrugged my thoughts alway before walking into my closet and picking a decent outfit.
I had no idea which crazy celeb I'm gonna be working with, but I could give two shits.
You would think I'd get so excited working with celebrities, haha you're wrong. At first when I started this job I absolutely loved it, I loved meeting all these famous people and stuff. But I hated the fact that they didn't appreciate my work. They just gave me a few ideas of what they wanted the song to be like and they leave and have me do all their work.
Rude right? Every single celebrity I've worked with so far, have not thanked me once, or even help me write it. They just let me do all the work. That's one of the many reasons why I despite them so much.
I grabbed my phone from my bed and grabbed my purse and stuffed my charger, wallet, and journal in. I grabbed my hoodie and walked out of my room and into the living room. I grabbed my water bottle and shoved it into my purse as well, before turning off my lights and walking out of my condo.
I left the building instantly and started driving to the studio. I got there less than fifteen minutes. I parked my car in my usual spot before getting off and locking it.
I walked to the entrance and saw joe, the security guard standing outside.
"Hello Joe, night shift?" I asked and Joe peered his head up from his phone and smiled at me.
"Unfortunately, Mark couldn't make it in tonight, so here I am" joe said and shrugged, he usually works in the morning, but I was a little surprised to see him since it was already 9 p.m.
"Well have fun, and wish me luck" I told joe before walking into the building.
I walked Into the front desk and saw Mary sitting there on her phone.
"Hey Mary, Alex called me in. He said I have to work tonight. Wish me luck" I told Mary and she just rolled her eyes and wished me luck.
she totally gets me.
I walked into my studio and saw a lot of unfamiliar faces, probably like 8 people were In My studio. The only one I recognized was Alex, my manager.
I coughed signaling I was in the room, when everyone stopped talking and faced their direction to me.
"Can I help you?" I told everyone and Alex stood up from my chair, in my studio.
"Hey, you're finally here!!! Should we get started?" Alex said and I furrowed my eyebrows before crossing my arms.
"We sounds like too many. Last time I checked I was the only one working around here" I scoffed before walking towards my seat and sitting down.
