Taehyung's POV

Christmas had been a blast with our friends and with Halmeoni's amazing food, but now it was December 29th. It was 11:58 pm and I was lying on my bed, contemplating the ceiling, wondering if Skylar would really like her birthday gift. I had almost forgotten that it was gonna be my birthday in literally 2 minutes. My phone was next to me. I grabbed it and then saw the conversation that Sky and I had had a few weeks ago. I smiled and put my phone to my chest.

'I'm gonna surprise you Sky,' I thought 'And I want you to know how important your are to me. This gift comes from the bottom of my heart.'

I checked my phone again and it was 11:59 pm, a few seconds left until my 17th birthday. I checked my phone again and now it was 12:00 am. I immediately got a text.

Me: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!💖How did you know I was awake?

Sky💙: I was awake so I thought you would be too 😁😁

Me: I think you're stalking me 😂

Sky💙: How did you know? 😳😨

Me: Are you really stalking me? 😱

Sky💙: Well damn it. I was gonna try and scare you 😂

Me: Where are you?

Sky💙: Look out your widow.

I looked out the window and there she was. She was waving at me to go down, so I opened the window and climbed out as quietly as possible so that I wouldn't wake up Halmeoni.

"Good we've been waiting for you," she said

"Huh?" I asked

"YOLO!" she whisper-shouted

"Yeah?" I said confused

"We sneaked out of our houses and we're going to the park to see the stars," she said," Just for an hour though. We'll give you your gifts tomorrow afternoon after we take you somewhere."

The starts were beautiful. Jin and Soonhee were lying next to each other, and Jungkook and Soomi were lying next to each other, her head on Jungkook's chest. Skylar and I had no other choice but to lye side by side near a rock.

We had become even closer these days as our friends were all dating each other and we were sometimes left alone as they wanted their own alone time, cause that's what happens when all your friends are in relationships. She and even went shopping the other day for a last minute gift for everyone.

We had just been lying there for about twenty minutes and I noticed that Sky was asleep. She then moved closer to me. Her arm then went around my torso and she leaned her head near my chest as she slept soundly. I hugged her back.

After lying like that for a some time, I saw Jin and Soonhee get up and then Jungkook and Soomi. They all waved at me.
