Jamie's POV
My name is Jamie Whuttleworth, and I'm the chief's daughter. I'm expected to take over after father since I don't have any siblings. My mother was killed by a Tribe 6 hunter, she "startled" him. I don't believe it neither does my tribe, but that is in the past. I have to focus, the games are in two months and its is crunch time. I am participating in most of the games since we have a limited number of people who can compete. There is exactly 76 people in my tribe, and out of that many 6 are competing in this years games. I will be doing the javelin throw, shot put, hammer throw, wrestling, and sword fight. I have heard that my opponents are going to go easy on me since I am a girl in a male dominated games. I heard we get our games from something called the Olympics, apparently they were a hit before the nuclear apocalypse. Apparently they happen every four years while ours happen every two. I'm the first female to ever participate for my tribe.Normally are males only plus like three females, and they are dominated by Tribe 12. They have there pick of the flock, there are over a thousand people in Tribe 12. My biggest competion is probably Jake Sren, he is the chief's son of Tribe 11. I need to get back to work. If i ease up on my training now i will never win my tribes first medal.
