With a huff I lurched into the cab of the red big rig and threw my backpack onto the passenger seat and I kicked my feet up onto the board. My arms were crossed as I leaned back and let out a large, unhappy sigh.

"Elektra?" a large, strong voice asked. People would think I was mad if I told them the truck talked to me. But it does and it's no ordinary truck. I heard the concern in his voice and I buckled up my seat belt.

" I don't want to talk about it Optimus. Can we just go back to base? thanks." I replied almost instantly as I sunk into the drivers seat. The leather holding onto my skin like a large hug. With another sigh I reached for the radio and switched it on with my favorite band, Fall Out Boy, playing loudly inside of the cab. Usually if anyone did that Optimus would tell them to knock it off but if it was me he wouldn't mind. And I know he loved this band just as much as I do.

" I've thought of angels choking on their halo's, get them drunk on rose water. See how dirty I can get them, pulling out their fragile teeth and clip their tiny wings~" I began singing, only to be cut off by Optimus.

"Seems a bit harsh, does it not?" he asked and I just let out a amused chuckle and punch the steering wheel playfully.

"Shut up, ya big lugnut" I tell him trying my best American accent, only with him do I act carefree but in the base I'm just as stern, and short tempered, as the leader by here.

The song continued playing as I rested my head against the window and slowly started to fall asleep. It was a long drive from school to the base and all I could really focus on was stupid Morgan, Megatron's pet, and her fragging followers. Still, it could be worse. I shook my head and woke up, while trying to clear my mind but as I did I saw Optimus' right mirror adjust back into normal place. A slightly surprised look appeared on my tired face.

"Were you spying on me?" I asked as I crossed my arms, a soft grimace on my lips. There was no way he could deny it this time.

It took him about 2 seconds to reply. "I thought you were dead." that was it. His ever so lousy excuse.

"Y'know Prime, sometimes you can be as low as that freaking Nokia-bot that Ratchet nearly got killed by a few months ago." I told him dryly but that must've amused him because a chuckle could be heard around the cab.

He turned silent soon as we drove through the town. I looked around a bit, even though I've been here for a few months I haven't exactly had a good look at the town. It really wasn't anything special, obviously, but it was a second home that I could easily fit into. I had always wondered how out of all the places on Earth they wound up in a desert. The sun was slowly going down, casting shadows like dark fingers running down the town and the sky was painted a peachy color. It was nice, at the least.

"So..." I began to attempt to break this deathly silence.

There was no reply - just a steering wheel moving by itself.

"How's Arcee?"

"Fine, fine. why?" Optimus asked with a baffled voice. oh man. I only asked because Arcee has 'a thing' for him.

"Just asking, I mean, she is the only female bot." I replied lamely. I really hated myself sometimes so with a feeling of being Lame-mus Prime. I looked at a now red traffic light.

"She is not the ONLY female Autobot" this news hit me like a brick, wait, scrap that. This news hit me like a lob ball.

"What do you mean not the only female Autobot? There's more! where are they?!" I was somehow getting ecstatic about this news. Yeah sure my team is made out of mostly girls but still I know what it's like for Arcee. I grew up with three older brothers which sucked.

"...The Allspark."

My heart died down.

"They're dead?"

"Yes..." another silence came over us until the light turned green. Just in the distance I could make out the figure of the base, a soft smile made it's way onto my lips.

"Hey Prime" I said as I relaxed a bit

"Yes?"

"Do you remember the first time I came to base and Bulkhead tried to crush me under his pede because he thought I was a scraplet?" The thought just made me chuckle and so did Optimus. We were only a few yards away from the entrance now.

"Elektra, would you want to take over?" he asked. He only let me do this occasionally when he knew he could trust me. Of course I said yes. I took the wheel into my hands and looked at the Autobot symbol then the window, knowing that Optimus only as control to the engine so he would drive and I would steer.

The door opened and I smoothly drove through the tunnel with the blue lights casting some eerie shadows in the entrance area but we soon made our way to the main room. I could already hear Green and Ratchet talk about something about Science, not exactly my most favorite subject if I had to be honest. I honked the horn, and watched Green jump in fright. Her face was a mix of utter terror and bafflement. I laughed loudly inside the cab but then Optimus stopped the engine and opened the driver door. I pulled my backpack off of the passenger seat and walked towards the hyperventilating human medic as Optimus transformed.

"ELEKTRA!!!" Green yelled furiously as she moved her short green hair from her face and adjusted her uniform. Exactly like Ratchet's paint job, but, in green.

"What?" I was trying my best to hold in a laugh. She stormed up at me, but I was still taller than her. Much taller.

"YOU AND THAT FRAGGING HORN OF HIS SCARED THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME!!!" She shot back as she gripped tightly on my red jacket. I tensed up a little as her dark blue eyes shone a shade of anger.

Of course, blame the one that was only doing that for amusement. Oh well. Time for Prime Elektra.

I shoved her hands off my jacket and adjusted it, as I patted down my white shirt underneath.

"That was hardly necessary. It was merely a matter of amusement." I told her sternly, resembling so much of Optimus I could even see Ratchet looking at me as if he was talking to Optimus. It was more of a accomplishment than anything else. But as always, her yelling had to attract attention.

I heard some footsteps coming closer and let out a sigh. Without turning to face the person.

"What is it now?"

It took a few moments for the person to reply, but it was certain.

" 'Con activities."

I sighed and exhaled deeply

"Of course. Ratchet, we will require a groundbridge" I turned to look at the orange medic, my turquoise eyes stern.
