Almost 10 minutes later the door flew open and Arkin came running in. "MUMMY! Dad bought us sweeties!" He squealed, jumping on me.
"Oh man, I told you not to tell her!" Timmy said, following him in.
"Sweets? You haven't even had your dinner yet!" I replied.
"I'm saving my sweets. Will you look after them mum?" Olly said as he came running into the room, being chased by Lachie. I bribed Arkin's leftover sweets off him before putting them all into my handbag.
"Sorry babe, but I just couldn't resist their little faces" Timmy said, kissing my cheek before being startled by Lance storming into the room.
"Right you lot, go get your food, get changed and do your warm ups. Times ticking" he said, shooing the boys out of the room, and with a final hug each from Timmy, they were gone.
Lance spun Olly around to face him, before sneakily throwing me a pack of candles and winking. I was just helping Lesley to settle a crying baby down before getting the boys ready and treating them to a McDonalds, when Timmy popped his head around the door.
"Pssssst Arks, come here a minute kiddo!" He said. They were outside the room talking for almost 5 minutes before Arkin came back running back in.
"Mum, can I have one of my sweets? For daddy. But can I pick it?" Arkin asked.
"Erm, yeah. Course you can. But none for you remember! Not till after tea" I said, passing him my hand bag and watching him rummage around in it. I was about to offer him some help when Oliver appeared from the washroom that was next door to the green room.
"Can you help me do my tie?" He asked handing my a black skinny tie. The kids had spent ages picking their outfits for tonight, identical black jeans and white shirts, with little blazers, apart from Arkin wanted a bow tie. So he could be more like his dad. They normally only wore their 'smart' clothes for big occasions like weddings, but we'd considered this big enough. By the time I'd helped Olly get his tie on Arkin had ran out of the room and handed something to his dad before coming back in. We quickly got Arkin changed and grabbed their coats before leaving Teagan with Lesley and heading out to McDonalds. I threw everything we wouldn't need for the rest of the night into the car and then we were on our way. It was already 6:50 so we didn't have too long before the theatre doors opened.
*Later that night*
We were all dancing away without a care in the world. This tour was the best of the best. Literally. An hour and a half, jam packed with all the fans favourite songs from all the albums. Everyone quietened down as Mike beamed at the audience and began talking. Most of us knew what was about to happen next, considering the fact that the other boys all ran off stage. We were quite near the end of row, and at the end of the song, instead of all the boys running back around and back on stage, all but one of them did... Timmy however came squeezing down our row. He hugged Arkin, gave me a quick peck on the lips and a wink, then picked Olly up and mumbled "You're getting too big for this" before running off with him.
"G'WAN OLIVER!" Arkin shouted after them, laughing his little head off.
"So guys" Lachie said as he walked on stage. "At our shows, we have friends and family coming all the time, and as you know, pretty much all of us have some family in today" he continued.
"But today it's a certain someone's birthday..." Darren said, taking over.
Mark was the one who spoke next "And by someone, we mean Timmy's eldest son!"
"So, who'd like to help us sing a very special song to our mate Olly?" Mike shouted as Timmy came walking onto stage with his hands on Olly's shoulders, who was walking in front of him. He plonked Olly in the middle of the four boys, and then ran off the other side off the stage. Ok. Even I didn't know what he was doing now. Arkin was still laughing at the side of me, so I quietened him down by giving him sweets.
