Chapter 9: Homework

As I said, Jaden sat down next to me. "Hey, Noah. Bi-" the teacher walks in.

"Alright, class. What assignment did you have to do last night?" Camila raises her hand. "Yes, Camila?"

"Read page 263 in our science book and write a paragraph about robotics." She says. Camila is kinda like the teachers pet, always trying to be the smartest of us all.

"Good. Did anyone forget?" He asks. Obviously Jake or Jaden are going to raise their hands.

"Umm, me," Jake raises his hand.

"Me too," Erica says also. Alright, I was expecting Jake, but not Erica.

"Ok, I specifically said we were supposed to bring our paragraph today. It was so simple! I even gave you a week extra because nobody listened!" Wow, he must be mad.

"Ok fine. We'll bring them tomorrow!" Erica says.

"No, you're gong to get an F on this project and go to detention right after school. 3:00 to 5:00 and I bet your parents won't be happy!"

Erica stomped and left the room. Jake just sat there like he was gonna doze off. I guess they aren't having the best day.
