So when Colin Sterling stumbles into her life, she's determined to keep him at arm's length. But that proves to be more difficult than she expected, because soon, after many late-night conversations and early morning laughs, she realises that not only has he become her purpose to swim, he has also—slowly, but surely—taught her the gentle art of healing.

It is not mandatory to read it before this one, but I highly recommend you do, just to get a better understanding of the characters and their personalities, along with their backstories, which will be touched in quite a fair bit in this book, though explanations will be provided along the way when necessary.
