10) I Need to Find Emma

Emma's POV

Henry told me that Walsh was coming, so I gave him my phone and told him if anything happens, not to come out without me or my parents. When  Walsh walks in, I push him behind me. "Stay behind me" he nods his head in response, but when Walsh walks in, he started to cry and holds onto me arm.

"Emma!" When Walsh yelled, Henry held onto me a little bit tighter, then Walsh grabbed my other arm and started to pull on it. "You're coming with me!" This got Ruby's attention, I signaled for her to stay back, I don't need anyone getting hurt because of me.

Then Henry gripped onto my arm as tight as he probably could. "No!!" He yelled.

"Henry, it's gonna be okay, just do what I told you to do"

"What'd you tell him to do?!" Walsh yelled. 

He shakes his head. "Emma, I don't wan-"

"Henry do it" he nods his head, reluctantly and starts to run to the bathroom, then Walsh pulls me out of the diner. "Walsh let me go!"

"Shut up Emma!" He yelled, once we got to the car.

"No!! I'm not letting you bully me into submission anymore! I didn't stay with you because I love you! I stayed with you out of fear! I haven't loved you since i was 17! You're a mon-" he interrupts me by slapping me. 

"When I say shut up, I mean shut up! Now get in the damn car!" He shouts at me, still not letting me go. 

"Walsh! I'm done! I'm not your property! Let go of me!"

"Except you are my property! You're mine!" He threw me to ground and I think I hit my head, because after I fell, everything went black. 

I wake up in... the mines? Wow, my head is killing me, I try to lift my hand to touch my head but I can't, it seems that my hands are tied to the tracks... great. "Hello? Is anyone there??... Walsh?!"

"Hey there Emma!" Walsh said, with a bit too much joy in his voice. 

"Untie me!" I yelled angrily, which caused him to laugh. God I miss Henry, he's probably so scared, I need to get out of here. "Wipe that ugly smirk off of your creepy face!" 

"You know, you were dreaming of that little boy, Henry" he told me smugly. "Why do you care so much about that kid? Is it because he's just like you? I heard that he's an orphan too!"

"Shut up Walsh" I told him, pissed off. Not pissed off because he called me an orphan, but because he called my kid an orphan.

"Ooh, did I hit a nerve?"

"I was an orphan, but I'm not anymore, I have a family, and I'm damn well not talking about you!"

"Oh, you mean Mary Margaret, her boyfriend and that kid?" I stay silent, trying not to show too much emotion. "Well, you don't have them anymore, they'll never find you, we're not in Storybrooke anymore"

I know he's lying, but I don't say anything. "They will find me" I say to him, he scoffs and then leaves the area. "They will always find me" I say under my breath.

David's POV

Emma has been missing for almost 2 hours, Snow is worried sick, but she thinks her best friend is missing, when really, it's her daughter.

I just wish I could just break this curse and get Snow her memories back, now. Graham is letting me help with Emma's case, she was identified as a missing person because of the few witnesses at the diner.

Then a call came in on the tip line.

"Hello?!" I ask eager to hear the tip.
"Hello sheriff, it's Archie, I'm-"
I interrupted him. "It's not the sheriff Archie, it's David Nolan"
"Oh David, well I'm calling to report a car driving towards the mines"
"Archie, what does th-" he interrupted my question.
"It was Walsh"
"Thank you Archie" I ended the call.

"Graham! We need to search the mines!" Yelled from across the room, then started walking towards him.

"Why?"

"To find Emma!!" I yelled to him.

"We need probable cause"

"Archie called it in on the tip line! He said he saw Walsh driving in the direction of the mines"

"David, that's not probable cause, I'm sorry, but it's not enough to get the mayor to let us search the entire area" he told me.

"Well who's the mayor?"

"Regina Mills" of course she is , so I stormed out of the sheriff's department and went to Snow's place.

"Mary Margaret, there's a lead! But if we want to pursue it, we have to do it alone... And it might piss the mayor off"

"What kind of lead??" She asked me.

"Archie said that he saw Walsh's car driving in the direction of the mines, but Graham said there isn't enough probable cause to get permission from the mayor"

"Then let's go... I need to find Emma" she said without another thought. "We need to bring water and a lot of it. There are miles and miles of mines down there"

"I'll go pack some water" I walk into the kitchen and start loading bottles of water into my book bag.

"David?" I turn my head and look at her. "Are you sure about this? You hardly know Emma, and it can take days to search it all"

"Positive" I tell her and smile. "I may have only known her for less than 2 weeks, but she's your best friend and I feel like I've known you forever" I said to her romantically, even though it was sort of a lie, but it got a little blush out of her, despite the circumstances.

"We're gonna need sleeping bags too, because I'm not leaving there without my best friend" she left the room and grabbed a few sleeping bags, since I was still packing water and snacks, and she insisted on carrying the sleeping bags herself. 

"And I don't plan on leaving there without her either" I'm trying my best to hide how concerned and worried I am about Emma.

"Come on Prince Charming" she said to me sarcastically, with a faint smile on her face, and I zipped my bag and we left to the mines.

We've been down here for 3 days and there's still no sign of Emma, but I'm not giving up, I refuse to. We we're just about to lay down for the night, when we found a place off the tracks, we heard and echoed grunt. It wasn't just any grunt, I think it sounded like Emma, but it wasn't quite loud enough, then we heard her voice, it was still pretty quiet though. "Please Walsh, j-just stop"

Then we heard a louder, more harsh voice. "Shut up Emma!!" It was Walsh, me and Snow looked at each other, then dropped everything and darted in the direction of the noises.
