It was not long after they had finished the mission that Natsu and Grey started bickering.

"Oh. So you think you're stronger," Natsu shouted. "We'll see about that!"

"It took you forever to finish that guy off, fire breath," Grey yelled back.

"Would you two stop fighting," Lucy told the two. "When we get back Master Makarav isn't going to be happy. We destroyed another  building."

"Lucy is right," Erza said confidently.

"And now we have to use the money we got from doing this job to pay for those buildings. It also means I can't pay my rent," Lucy whined.

They all quieted down as they walked towards the guild. Natsu and Happy were walking with their hands over their bellies. "Can we stop to eat?" The two said together.

"Yeah," Gray agreed. "Besides, it'll delay us getting to the guild which will also delay us getting punished."

"Actually, now that I think about it, I am pretty hungry," said Lucy.

"Then it's settled," Erza noted. "We will get some food before we get to Fairy Tail."

So the whole group walked over to a restaurant near where they stopped to talk. They entered and ordered what they wanted. As usual Happy got fish and Natsu got almost everything. It was so late that this meal was counted as dinner. Once everyone but Erza was almost done, they still had to wait for Erza to finish her piece of cake. When they were all done and getting ready to leave, a strange man walked into the restaurant. The whole group looked over at him because they could sense his magical power. Natsu recognised his smell, but couldn't remember his name. The man sat down near the team's table. A waitress came over to serve him, but he insisted that he didn't want anything. All he did was stare at Lucy. Lucy notices his staring and started to a little feel sleepy.

"Hey guys," Lucy said sleepily, "I'm starting to get tired. We should head back to the guild, then I'm gonna go home."

"Sounds good to me," replied Natsu.

So the team headed back to the guild. Little did they know, the man that was at the restaurant was following them. He was keeping a close eye Lucy, making sure she stayed in his sight. Not one of the group ever thought that this man was following them. They just rushed to get back to the guild so that everyone could get some rest after this mission. Even though she was fast walking, Lucy seemed to be having trouble staying awake.

"Hey, Lucy," Gray said in a worried tone, "why don't you head home and we'll take care of this. You look like you're gonna pass out right here and now."

"Thanks," Lucy said. "Tell me how master reacted in the morning, okay?"

"Aye," said Happy.

Lucy headed home, but on her way, she started thinking about that man at the restaurant. "I wonder why he would stare at me like that," Lucy thought out loud. "And I wonder why it made me so sleepy."

As usual, Lucy was walking on the edge of the river walk. "Hey, blondey," said the man on the boat, "you better be careful or you'll fall in the water."

"You know what? " Lucy whispered to herself. "Since I'm so sleepy I shouldn't walk on the edge. I might pass out into the water and drown."

Lucy soon got to her house, but she didn't make it in. As soon as she got to the door, she fell asleep and fell on the ground. Once that happened, the strange man from the restaurant grabbed her and took her to an abandoned castle in the middle of the woods nearby.

I will try to publish a new chapter soon. I can't guarantee when, but I will try to get it published ASAP. Thanks for deciding to read this fanfic!
