Kylie's P.O.V.

I slammed the door behind myself. My heart was practically beating out of my chest. "MOM! MOM?!" I screamed, searching through my house.

"Kylie?" I heard someone whisper. I jumped, shocked, and turned aorund. Ryan was sitting on the floor, his hands holding his head. I couldn't help but notice tears rolling down his cheeks. I've never seen him cry before, not even when our dog of 12 years died last year.

"Ryan?" I ran to his side, sliding down the wall to sit next to him. "What happened?" He looked at me, his eyes bloodshot and red. He gently placed his hand on my thigh.

"Didn't mom tell you?" He said, more tears rolling out of his eyes.

I shook my head, even more anxious. "She just told me I had to make up an excuse for coming back home to Harry."

"And..?"

"I told Harry that mom grounded me. Now will you just tell me already?!" I blurted out. Ryan just sighed, and picked up a paper. He handed it to me, wiping his tears with the other hand.

Dear Mrs.Thompson and the Thompson family,

You are now being notified for the death of your husband, father, and dear friend, Lieutenant John R. Thompson, who passed away at our base camp Joyce, Afghanistan, on Friday, June 1st. Sir John was found dead at his duty area at our base. He was flew in to the closest hospital, but did not make the journey.  We, the officers and men of this base, want you to know that in this time of sorrow, we share your grief. We feel that it is especially unfortunate that he had to be removed from our lives. We hope that it will be a comfort to you to know that your husband was given fully military honors and religious rights at the ceremony funeral near our camp base.

May the benedictions of our Heavenly Father be on you and other surviving members of the family.

Most sincerely,

Capt. Rob Albern

Buckets of tears ran down my face at the first few words. I immediately knew what this was about. But I kept reading on anyway to make myself pain. I wanted to see a 'just kidding!' at the bottom of a letter. But the more and more I kept reading on, the more I realized it wasn't going to come. My father. He was gone. My dear military dad was dead.

"Oh my god!" I gasped. I couldn't stop my crying. Ryan cried even more, too, and put his arms around me. We hugged for what seemed like hours, but had only been a matter of seconds. We just sat there, in each other's arms, sitting on the floor, our backs leaning against the wall.

"I think you should tell him." Ryan muffled in my hair, his head resting on my shoulder.

"What?"

"You should tell Harry." He whispered.

I nodded, agreeing with him. "Yeah, I think I should, too."

Harry's P.O.V.

I knocked a few times on her door. No one came. So I decided to just open it.

I heard footsteps in the other room, so I decided to go in. "Ryan?" I squinted my eyes. Yes, it was Ryan. He was just walking back and forth, his hands on top of his head.

He stopped in his tracks, and looked at me. "Hey man." He said, putting his hand into a fist so I could bump into it with my own.

"Listen, mate, I'm really sorry." I said, examining his face. I could see traces of dried tears on his cheeks, his eyes really red.

"It's okay, bro. I knew it was gonna happen one day or another, but it's just Kyles that needs to be comforted right now." Ryan said. I nodded, and patted him on the shoulder.

I made my way up their stairs, thinking of what I could say to Kylie. Because honestly, I had no bloody idea what to say. It's not like I've ever experienced a big loss in my family before. But I would feel horrible if either my mum or step dad died.

Kylie's bedroom door opened before I could even knock on it.

We just stared back at her, her face looked just like her brothers, eyes and cheeks all read, tears all over her face.

I looked back at her, not sure what to do. Even with no makeup on she looked stunning. Before anything else happened, she threw her arms around my neck, jumping on me. Her soft legs wrapped around my waist as I caught her. I felt my pants slowly drop, but I just shrugged it off. I carried her inside her room, and kicked the door closed behind me.

I felt her tears go through my shirt. I set her on her bed, laying down next to her. We just lay there, let minutes pass by as we stared at the high ceiling.

"Why aren't you saying anything?" She asked, her eyes still glued to the ceiling. I didn't look away from it either.

"I don't know what to say." I whispered back. I slipped my hand in hers, our gazes not breaking apart from the ceiling.

"So I'm guessing you're not actually grounded?" I finally turned over to her, my eyes roaming at her body. She was perfect. Perfect face, perfect body, perfect girl.

"Nope. I had to make up an excuse." She sniffled.

I used my other hand to lift up her chin to make her look at me. "Hey. It's okay, love. I will always be here for you no matter what."

"Really?"

I nodded. "Of course. I love you more than pussy."

Kylie's eyes widened. So did mine, when I realized what I just said. She giggled so hard. Even though I didn't mean to make her laugh, it felt good to hear that giggle again.

"Oh god! That sounded soo wrong. I meant cats, babe. I love you more than cats."  I chuckled.

She stared back at me, a small smile forming on her beautiful and full pink lips.

"Wow. That says a lot."

"Mhm." I chuckled.

She giggled again. That's when I got my amazing "Harry-moment" ideas that Louis always says I have.

I rolled off the bed. Kylie quickly got up, staring at me.

"I have an idea!" I smiled at her.

She chuckled. "Harry-moment idea?"

My eyes widened. "How did you-"

"Louis." She said simply.

I nodded. "Ah, of course. BUT ANYWAY! What if I took you on tour with us? It'd help you take your mind of things."

Kylie jumped up off the bed. She jumped in my arms, kissing my everywhere from my cheek to my neck. "Thank you, thank you thank you thank you!" She screamed. I smiled. So is that a yes?

I guess I said that out loud because Kylie said, "Yes, of course! When do we leave?!"

"Tomorrow."

"You've got to be shitting me, Haz."

I snug my hands around her waist, our foreheads pressed against each other. "You love me." I flashed her a cheeky smile.

She, herself, flashed me her white-pearl teeth. "Hmm, how do you know?" She teased me, her lips a centimeter away from mine. I just wanted to kiss her and never stop.

"Ugh, you tease. Kiss me. Now." I gulped, waiting for her to place her lips on mine. My heart beat faster and faster each second.

"You kiss me." She smirked, biting her lip. I couldn't resist. Kyles biting her lip was like a naked Scarlett Johansson. No, even better. God, she turned me on so much.

"Fine." I couldn't stand it any more. I crashed my lips into hers, and our lips moved in sync. I opened my mouth, so did Kylie, allowing me to enter my tongue in her mouth. Our tongues danced together, playing games with each other.

I felt tears run down her face as I hugged her body closer to mine. Feeling her cry through our kiss only made me want to kiss her and hold her harder, and never let her go.
