The best way I could explain it was the fact that I was covered in darkness. I couldn't move, I couldn't do anything but watch what was going on. I had no control of my body. I actually wasn't worrid about that. The actual thing I was worried about was who side must I choose, and who was telling the truth. Was Kira the enemy? Or was it the Souless? I didn't know...I just wanted to sleep. "Do you desire power?" A voice asked. This voice was definitely a demonic like voice, but it was a male. "I can give you power." I only closed my eyes...and wished for control over my body...and then that's where it happened. A bright light illuminated from the darkness, and I was back in my body again. I had control of it. I found myslf staring at Sarah and some...dude. I raised an eyebrow at the dude, who's face was pale as a ghost...but he was definitely a Taylor. Don't ask me how I know. I only sighed to myself...the battle was over...though you could hardly call that a battle. "Who are you?" I ask the male before me. The male simply replied "Xeno Taylor." That explains everything. He looked like a Taylor, and he was definitely one. "I suppose you are the boy Merlin sent me?" Xeno asked me. The old man?  I thought. I only nodded silently. Xeno nodded. "Come with me." Xeno simply said. Then he turned around and walked off. I stood up and followed.

After what seemed like twenty minutes of walking, Xeno lead me to a small thrift store. I only arched an eyebrow at the sight. Don't tell me this fucker's taking me shoe shopping... I silently thought. Xeno walked inside, and pulled a level...then the wall behind the counter slid open, a secret door. "The Souless tend to prey on the surface, but they never seem to go underground." Xeno explained. Xeno began walking down the spiral stair case that went underground. I followed Xeno, and I could hear Sarah moving around...she was close behind. "Humanity has been war with the Souless for a little over one hundred years. At first, we had a few victories, but after the "incident", we began losing, until our major countries began falling." Xeno explained to me. "And now we're forced to live underground, to hide from the Souless." After moments of walking, we finally got to what looked like an underground base, which was armed with high tech military gear. Mechas, tanks, guns, you named it, it was there. There were also a little over a thousand people underground. "Anyone who lives, fights in this war. If they can walk and breathe, they can fight." Xeno explained. "Admiral Merlin wishes for me to train you." Xeno said. "And that's exactly what I'm going to do. Get ready for the harshest training of your life, boy." Xeno finally said. I only sighed and shook my head...I knew I was in for hell.
