Incomplete

You Both!?

Pranita:

I dashed open the door of our room. Tears were flowing all through my way here. I came in running. Meera was sitting in a chair reading a book and was shocked to this sudden situation.

"Prani,what happened?"

I fell on the bed and was weeping. I didn't want to tell anything to anyone. But, if I do that I might feel better.

Meera came close to me, held my hand and said,"what happened Prani? Please tell me."

"I.. I.. hugged.. Varun" I said controlling my tears as much as possible.

"so? That's good isn't it?"

"no.. No Meera! I hugged Varun when Radha was there. I hugged him when he had almost forgotten me. I hugged him and gave him false expectations.. Again!" I burst out of tears.

Meera calmed me and said that she will tell Sid to talk to Varun and see what's going on in his mind.

"but..but what about Radha? Has she seen you both?"

"no.. No she didn't but the way I ran out and all those stuff, she will figure out what had happened." I replied "maybe.. Maybe Varun would tell her all.. Oh no! Shit!"

"don't worry Prani, I think he will not tell her. Trust him, girl."

"yea..Meera promise me! Promise me you will also not tell anything to Radha!" I said getting  hyper tensed.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. "I'm coming in" said Radha's voice.

God! If she saw me, she would ask a ton of questions to whom I am not in a state to answer. I lied on the bed and pretended to sleep. Yes, Radha did ask Meera some questions regarding me and Varun but Meera avoided them. After an hour, Radha and Meera left for shopping in the local market and I was left alone in the room. I got up, washed my face and decided to go and talk to Varun.

I went and knocked the door of his room. What would I say to Varun? How would he react after that incident?
There was some sound behind the door and then the door was opened by Sid.

"Ummm.. Is Varun there?" I asked.

"no.. He has gone out for a walk."

"oh okay, I will see you in a bit then." I said leaving.

"Prani! Wait!" Sid called from behind "I'm.. I'm sorry for hurting you this morning. I.. I just was unable to control all my feelings and so I reacted to aggressively. I'm.. I'm really very sorry."

"its okay Sid. Actually I should thank you. Today because of you I could talk to Varun and I felt much better after that. Thank you." I said.

"oh yea. What did you talk? Is it all sorted out now?" he asked.

"no.. Instead it has became more complicated." I said in a low voice.

"what? What happened?"

"nothing.. It's a long story. For now I need to go." and so I left.
I didn't want to tell all this to Sid. First I wanted to sort it out myself and then I would like to hear others opinions.

I went down in the main hall. I had no work to do and so I decided to explore the village a little. I went out. Our hotel was on the main street of that village and so all the famous places were not so far.

The people in the village were busy with their routine. The best part was that everyone was carrying a smile. Even if I was a tourist there, I didn't feel like one. I went to a local sweet shop to try sweets and then to a temple nearby. The localites welcomed each and everyone and also guided through the rituals. Then I went to the market in the hope of finding Meera and Radha. And there they were standing near a shop. I went towards them. I knew Radha would have many questions to ask but I was in no mood to answer them. I just wanted to enjoy the remaining days.

"heyy guys, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"nothing much. I was just buying some gifts for my cousin" Meera replied. "Cmon, let's see the park now.."

And so we started walking towards the park. I could here some whispering going on between the two of them and I knew it was about me but I decided to ignore it. After 15-20 mins, Meera finally spoke,"Ummm.. Prani, how is everyone in the hotel? Did you meet Sid and Varun after lunch?"

I looked at her. Why was she behaving like she didn't know anything? She knew that I met him, and all the things that happened! Oh yea! Radha was here too and she might have compelled Meera to start a conversation.

"yes.. Yes I did meet them."

"why? I mean what happened? We're you searching for something?" Radha joined.

I had so little time to think and no time to react. So I spoke, " no.. No.. I just wanted to talk to them."

"look Prani, I am getting straight to the point. Radha saw you running outside Varun's room and she thinks there is something you have been hiding" Meera said. I knew she wanted to help Radha as well as help me.

"there's... There's nothing I am hiding from you Radha.."

"are you sure you don't want to tell me anything, Prani?" Radha asked sounding suspicious. "because I really think you have something to tell me.. Something about you and Varun.."

And just when I was about to answer, Varun and Sid came and joined us. What the hell! Why was Varun here? All the things were going in a wrong way.. I was just about to sort things up when they have become tangled again!

And Radha continued,"tell me Prani. Is there anything between you and him?" she said pointing at Varun. He was also listening and waiting for my answer. His eyes held hope and he came close to me. Yes! He was thinking that we are in a relation again. But that was not the case. The hug was just a.. a.. I can't explain.
