Offering a clingy refuge

Fog hovers over the high bridge

Hiding the girl on its edge

Silence surrounds the damaged girl

At her feet, a blade soaked with blood

Ugly cuts on her wrist the culprit

Wetting her skin are tears from her heart

Her hands reach up with eyes following

She savors the damp air on last time

Her face turns down admiring black

The water below offering release

One last step and she is gone
