New school, new freinds, new guy

Ch.1

Three weeks into my new school. My name is Ashley Henderson. I am an only child with divorced parents so as you would imagine I dreamed of the total opposite life than my parents. I wanted love. It sounds crazy but true. I started here at Ridge-wood high in Orlando Florida for my moms new job. She's a magazine editor so everyone always thinks I'm some prissy wannabe until they get to know me.

I'm the kinda girl who hides away in the back if the class until someone else makes the first move. And who talked to me first was my best friend, Lauren.

And the one I'm falling for is Josh Fowler. Okay maybe I just met the guy but trust me it's worth it. He's a tall blonde, blue eyes, and has a way with words that would make all of the girls drop when he looked their way. Atleast to me. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for picking him out of all of the guys. In fact just yesterday he came up to me out of the blue and just talked. About normal everyday stuff. Like a completely normal person. But at the very end just as he turned I saw the wink. I literally couldn't stop smiling the rest of the day!! Could he be the one. I mean I'm growing up with these people! This could either be my friend, my enemy, or the guy I could love. And to a girl in eighth grade a wink is huge and my mom just started letting me date this summer but I want to find THE one before I start that stuff. And now I am sitting in my room wondering about tomorrow.... Does he like me?.......the wink, the wink,the wink.......but one thing I left out, what's gonna happen tomorrow at school? We just got new seats and I sit right next to Josh! What am I gonna do?...
