Growing up in Lavender town can make you pretty used to spooky things, but I was definitely not ready for the encounter I would have at the age of six years old at the lost tower. However, it would later prove to be one of the greatest things to have ever happened to me.

"Wait for me you guys!" Cried six year old Jade Fullbuster who was trying her absolute best to keep up with her older cousin Tommy and his friends. She had dirt all over her and her white dress from falling so many times while struggling to keep up with her cousin.

"Ugh, why'd you have to bring your stupid little cousin Tommy?" Asked one of Tommy's friends.

"I had to. My parents forced her on me." Tommy groaned not bothering to slow down for his younger cousin who continued to trip and fall over. She had always been a bit of a clutz and besides a big frilly dress wasn't exactly the best outfit to be running in.

"Can't we dump her or something?" Asked another of Tommy's friends.

Just then a devilish grin grew on Tommy's face and he stopped in his tracks. Through the trees Tommy could see that the infamous lost tower was just up ahead. "I've got an idea." He muttered to his friends.

Just then little Jade came stomping up to Tommy and his crew. The big pink bow that was once sitting on top of her head was now dirty and dangling off to the side. Her pretty wavy brown hair was now messy and tangled. And in her small balled up fists were her now muddied and almost ruined pink dress shoes.

"Tommy why won't you guys wait for me? I wanna hang out with you guys because I'm a big kid too!" She siad putting her hands on her hips and sticking her chest out proudly.

"A big kid huh? Alright, prove it." Tommy replied, a sinister smirk plastered on his face.

"How?" Jade asked while raising an eyebrow.

"If you're a big kid like you say you are, then you should be able to last 15 minutes by yourself in the lost tower!" He said pointing a finger behind him. The tower literally towered over all the dead trees surrounding them.

"Tommy are you crazy?!" Whispered one of Tommy's friends.

"Do you want to get rid of her or not?!" Tommy whispered back.

"Oh no Tommy I can't go in there. Momma says it's dangerous and full of monsters in there!" Jade said taking a step back terrorstruck.

"But I thought you said you were a big kid." Tommy teased while raising an eyebrow and smirking widely at her.

Jade gulped and looked down at her feet.

"Oh well. I guess you're just all talk and you're not actually a big kid." He said turning on his heels and getting ready to leave, as did his friends.

"Wait!" Jade cried out.

Tommy smiled and turned right back around. "Hm?" He questioned.

"...I'll do it." Jade whispered.

"Atta girl! Now come on let's get you inside." Tommy said while walking up to the small frail dirty girl giving her a harsh pat on the back almost sending her forward.

Tommy's friends shared nervous glances as they drew closer and closer to the lost tower.

Once they arrived Tommy couldn't help but grin at his malicious ideanthat was now being put to action. "Alright. Me and the guys will wait out here and tell you when your time is up, meanwhile you get in there and show those monsters who's boss ok?"

"O-ok." Jade replied nervously while gripping her dress nervously with one hand and her shoes in the other.

Tommy opened the doors and pushed her inside. "Remember, we will be right outside these doors so just scream if you need us to come save you." He said flashing her a seemingly genuine smile.

"O-ok Tommy." She said, her spirits not lifted any.

"Goodluck." Tommy chuckled evilly as he closed the doors shut.

"Tommy are you sure she'll be ok in there? The lost tower is filled with ghost Pokemon." Tommy's friend asked shakily.

"You think I don't know that you idiot?!" Tommy snapped back. "Look, she won't last long in there at all. I give her three minutes tops. She'll run out scared and screaming and run home when she sees we're not here. When I get home I'll just tell my parents she tripped and fell and that's why she was crying. They'll believe me because she's a total clutz and she's filthy. If she tries to tell them what actually happened they still won't believe her because kids make up stories all the time. Now come on, let's bail before she runs out of there." He said before turning to run off.

His friends exchanged glances one more time before running after him.
