It's a funny thing, Love. It's even funnier how it starts, simply because you never know when it's going to happen. It just sort of slaps you in the face, you don't even know what hit you, until its to late. Me.....lets just say....it full on punched me in the face. A perfect right hook.

It all began September 1, 1994................"Arabella! Hurry up! You're going to miss your train!" I heard my mother shout. Today would be my first start of term at Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry. My names Arabella as you already know. Arabella Nevaeh Lynch to be exact. 11 years old, born on July 4th 1983. I have an older brother; Adrian Raymond Lynch, who plays for a professional quidditch team in Ireland.

"I'm coming Mum!" I yelled back to her on my way down the stairs of our three story home. My Mother was sitting in a chair in the Dining room, waiting on me. She looked anxious. "Please tell me you have everything packed, and havent forgotten anything? Your books, parchment, quills?" She asked. Of course I had everything packed, I've been packing and repacking for weeks now. "Yes Mum, I've checked and double checked everything." I told her. " Good the train leaves at 10:30, and right now it's 9:45. We must leave now for you to get a good compartment, and to get settled." She said, giving me a 'Get a move on' sort of look. I started to panic, we were going to be late! My mother ushered me over to the fireplace for us to flu to KingsCross. I grabbed a handful of powder, stepped in and shouted " KingsCross Station, London!" My Mother followed and off we were.

A few minutes later Mum and I had arrived at the station, walking quickly through all the muggles to the barrier between platforms 9 and 10 when she turned around "I trust you can make it through on your own darling?" She asked me. Mum was a muggle so she wasnt allowed through, seeing as I was only 11 I sorta wanted her there, but I nodded my head in reply "Yeah I think so, um...I guess I'll see you at Christmas?" She nodded her head while her eyes filled with tears. She hugged me and said "Oh pet Im going to miss you so much! Being by myself in the house! Whats a Mother to do without her children?! But I guess I'll live." Thats Mum for you overdramatic as always. "Oh dont worry Mum. I love you! Bye!" I told her. She still hadnt let go of me. "Mum! I gotta go! The trains gonna leave!." She finally let her hold on me go, told me she loved me, and walked away.

Okay I thought, I can do this. I stood inbetween 9 and 10 got a good hold on my trolley and ran straight for the wall. Once I made it through I looked around and came face to face with a big scarlett train. It was total chaos in there, kids running around, parents and children crying in goodbyes good thing Mum couldnt get through the barrier I thought, looking on as a girl about my age was being squished against her mothers chest as the woman cried. Coming out of my thoughts I made my way towards the train, passing a family of redheads on the way.

Once on the train I quickly found an empty compartment and placed my trunk on the rack above the seats. As I sat down my thougts finally hit me, I was going to Hogwarts! I'd been looking forward to it since my brother went to school. The trains whistle blew knocking my out of my thoughts. Again. The train was signaling its departure, all the other childrens families was waving and yelling out goodbyes as the train finally left the station. This is it I thought, Its time. Hogwarts here I come.
