“Sometimes things are not as they seem”

I walked downstairs to the kitchen to see if mom and dad are home yet. They're so busy that we did not have some time together. I bet that's why I'm not close to them as my grandma and I did. These days they're so busy to settle down some casses.

"Grandma!" Knowing my grandma, she is old and forgetfull. But that's doesn't define her sweetness. Her breakfast is so good. I could raise my third thumbs if I have another one.
"Yes sweetie? Did you call me?" My grandma replied. "Nothing, I just want to check out whether you're home or not." Well it's like, if grandma not here where else will she be?

I walked towards her but, I didn't really know where is she really at. "Grandma?" Suddenly the situation got really quiet at the moment. I reached the kitchen and there is no one at all. Okay, maybe she is at the bathroom. I nearly stepped on the stairs but, I have a bad feeling. Then I walked to the living room.

"Surprised!" The light turned on all of a sudden and everyone sing for me. That moment I did not realise that it is actually my birthday! I saw mom and dad. Second, I can feel the pressure when Abi land her hand on my shoulder. I didn't really know that everybody is here.

"Go blow your candles darl!" Abi chuckles. That actually gave me a sudden surprises. Like, I am literally forgot that today is my birthday. Third, I could never imagine how happy I am when I sees mom and dad are celebrating with me for the first time after all. I burst to tears..

"Aww! This supposed to be your biggest smile day! Why cry?" Grandma asked. I'm happy that's why. But technically I can't even open my mouth to speak what I actually felt. Everybody staring at me as if I have touched them too. That will gone terribly funny.

Without hesitating, I ran towards mom and dad and hug them like I have never met them before. But, things doesn't turn the way I wanted. They're just standing beside the door on each side like guarding it. I'm about two steps forward before reaching them, they stopped me.

I've got so many questions that popped up in my mind. Can't I just have a normal life? Can't you actually act like normal guy in the house? Can't I celebrate this day with happiness?
Then, I saw dad has it smile on his face. Same goes to mom too. "What actually is going on here?" Abi burst in laugh. She tought that everything was funny.
"If I were you, I would just open the door and see what's beyond!" I realised that Abi knows something I didn't. I mean of course she did, she was part of what has been planned.

As I reached the door. I wanted to open it but, I'm afraid they're trying to trick me like they used to. I grab the locker and unlocked it. Strangely it was hard to do. My hand was trembling and I'm a bit curious to know what's out there.

I didn't know Abi is the one who is excited to death to make me see what's out there. Maybe I moved so slow. " Okay, I'm done!" Abi shouted.
She moved my hand and open the door faster than I could blink my eyes.
"Ta..Da!!"

Some people says, believe in what you see. But, trust what you feel when you see.
I was muted a thousand words, to see what's in front of me. Is this for real?

I see an amazing looking Mercedes, with white color and black mirror on every side of the car. The number clearly says the digits of my birthday.
On the front, it is decorated with a bunch of white roses and same goes to the back of it.
I ran all the way to mom and dad to thank them. Yeah! As every family do, I hugged them a lot.
I never know that they actually loves me that much. This whole time they're preparing everything for my birthday. I love them so much!

"Don't you want to try it out?" Dad asked, and mom giggled.
"I'll tag you along!" Abi replied. So what do I waiting for. I grab the car keys that dad gave. Then, I hopped in the car and drove it.
"Be carefull sweetie! Do not make your license unusefull!"
I could just laugh to mom's words.
Happiest day of my life, I really make up with my parents which I have a terrible thoughts before.

Now! Let's waste the gasoline.
