Nate's POV
I wake up and lay on my bed for a few minutes, listening to the rain. I finally get up and walk downstairs to make breakfast. I see Katie sitting on the couch, sipping tea. "Your up early." I say and sbe smiles fakely. "Whats wrong?" I ask, sitting down and rubbing her back.
"Im just worried that Dan's fans are going to hate him for what he's done.." Katie answers between sniffles. I look at her in suprise as she walks to the sink and washes her mug. "Katie, he kidnapped you. Why would you care about him?" Katie glares at me and says "If it wasn't for Dan, I wouldn't be married to you, and we wouldn't have Lily!" I roll my eyes. "Mhm... like I didn't help you come out your shell." "Nathan!" She yells.
"Its true! He only made you famous!" I yell back. "What is wrong with you?! I can't even think about my first love without you judging me!" She stomps. "Thats it! We've been arguing too many times! I'm done with you!" I yell. Katie's eyes start to water as she runs upstairs. "Wait Katie! I'm really sorry!" After a few minutes she brings down three packed suitcases and throws them into my car. "Get out." She mumbles. "Huh?" I ask. "Get out!" She screams. I snatch my coat from the coat hanger and slam the door shut. I start my car and speed off to a hotel.
I buy a room on the top floor and sleep on the comfertable bed. Maybe I'll find a different love. I think. I wake up near noon and go down to the lunch places. I find one called Fresh Sea Food. I walk in and find a table to sit at. I hang my coat on my chair and walk over to the buffet and put some dumplings and sushi on my plate. "Nice choices." A pale girl with brown straight-ish hair says. "Yeah I guess, since I'm not very hungry." I say. "I'm Jemma." She explains. "I'm Nathan, but I'm called Nate." I say, shaking her hand.
We walk to the hotel together and joke around. "It was nice meeting you, Jemma." I say, still laughing a bit. "Nice meeting you too, Nate." Jemma says back, trying to hold in laughs. We take different elevatores and end up having our rooms next to each other. "Well thats nice." Jemma says, playfully elbowing me. I laugh as I unlock my door and fall asleep on the bed.
