Y/N's POV
I've been living in San Diego, California since I was 5 years old. Before I was living in a small town called Healdsburg, California. Going from a population of 12,000 to 1.4 million was beyond difficult and different. I understand though because my dad has to go where his work takes him. My parents got a divorce when I was 2 but for the last 12 years I've been living with my dad.
"Y/N it's time for school!" Dad yelled.
"Can't I sleep for a little bit longer please!!"I shouted back.
No answer. I knew I had to get up. I got up and got my outfit together(pic above). Got in the shower and got dressed like any other 9th grade girl would. I came down and my dad kissed me on the forehead.
"Would you like some breakfast?" He asked.
"Thanks Dad but I'm not hungry." I replied.
"I have to go but I'll see you tonight." I said walking out the door.
"Actually I'll be home after school I don't have work. And by the way big news but after school!" He said.
"Ok"I replied.
"Love you!", he said
"Love you too!!" As I shut the door.
Little did I know that news would change everything.
