They are the protector of this Earth. They need to protect our planet from the red force. However, there is more than that, the exo planet was destroyed and they had to moved to the earth. And the red force wants their power for they own deed.
Bonus, as you can watch it this VCR, they power seemed to be can't controled and could bring the disaster to everyone. But now, they are slowly able to control their own power.
P. S, maybe I should make a theory book for this!
