Liam's Point Of View

What just happened? My dad is not laughing at me, or yelling. I should ask him. I can't ask him, he might get mad. I should just stay quiet. We rode the rest of the way home in silence. When we arrived, I walked in and saw my sister on the couch playing on her phone. She didn't look at me, but she knew I was there. Her boyfriend suddenly walked into the room. "Hey Rodney!" I told him. He glanced at me and secretly waved to me. I smiled, realizing that at least one more person besides Lilian, Grayson, and Leni appreciates me. My father walked to his room in silence. I was so confused. *Ding* That's it! (An idea popped into his head) it must have been Lilian! I should call her. I ran up to my room and called her.

Phone Call

Liam: Hey Lilian!
Lilian: Hey Liam! Are you okay? You sound different.
Liam: Okay, straight to the question. Did you do anything to my dad? He seems weird.
Lilian: silence
Liam: Please! I need to know!
Lilian: I told him to stop beating you...
Liam: Wh-Why?
Lilian: Because he is physically abusing you! He shouldn't be doing this!
Liam: Thanks, but he could have hurt you! You just put yourself in a lot of danger. I don't want him to hurt you!
Lilian: I'm sorry..I didn't know.
Silence
Liam: Umm...how about we talk about something else. The Crubilous house!
Lilian: Okay! So here is what I thought! .....
