Breakfast was pretty hectic to say the least. Not that I'm complaining about it, though. It started out a bit awkward as everyone was kind of still testing the waters with me, but after l got some food in my stomach I began to perk up. As with everyone else, too.

To my right was Scott; I made sure that I was next to him in case things began to get uncomfortable for me. To my left was Heath, who ate probably as much as Liza and I combined. Though that's not saying that much since I only had a small omelet and orange juice. I met Alex and Liza, who were both really nice. When Liza saw me she ran up and gave me a big hug. Maybe she was just happy that there's another girl around. That's why I was glad to meet her. Alex was really sweet, too. He gave me a small hug and introduced himself. I thought he was cute but I'm not sure if he's my type.

About halfway through my meal I realized something, and I had to bite my tongue from laughing out loud because the thought was so random. Scott has some really hot friends. I would never tell him that, of course, since it's a little bit of a weird thing to tell your brother, but I knew that he would find out one way or another.

On the way home I chose to ride without Scott. The ride down with him was terrible. He, being very protective of me, decided that then would be a good time to "lay down some rules," because we were the only ones in the car. He started off by bombarding me with questions like, "When did you get those piercings?" and "Did Mom and Dad let you wear stuff like that?" He told me that my outfit was too revealing but I just ignored him. He has yet to see revealing. Then he proceeded to tell me about his friends. "Kheagan, be careful with the guys. I know they all think you're hot- which is expected since you have the same genes as me," he pauses to cockily grin at me before continuing. "But most of them will just play with you. I don't want you getting hurt." He sounded really sincere as he said this and as much as I wanted to tell him that I can handle myself, I held it back. "I don't mind a little flirting every here or there- but just know when to draw the line. And, if any of them do decide to break your heart, I will beat the living shit out of them." I nodded, understanding his need to feel "dominant" but to be honest, I'll just do what I want to. Before I forgot, I asked him who changed me last night and he told me it was him- thank God.

Because of that horrible ride down, I decided to ride with someone else. At that point I didn't care who, I just wanted out.

"Who can I ride with on the way back?" I asked to everyone as we all tried to leave the restaurant at once. It didn't work very well. Alex and Liza made it out but Zane fell trying to squeeze out with Heath. They both were laughing hysterically, on the ground, rolling around. They were blocking our way and it seemed like they wouldn't be moving any time soon, so I tried to hop over them. Bad idea. I fell on top of the two of them, sprawled out. This made my face grow warm with embarrassment and for them laugh harder. I gave in and joined in on their laughter.

Zane gets up first and helps up Heath. Heath extends his hand to me and pulls me up into his chest. It's a little awkward when I'm just standing there, pressed up against him, but I hardly notice. I'm still giggling about my mishap and wiping away the tears that formed in my eyes. I pull away and compose myself before repeating the question.

"You can come with us," Zane offered, pointing to himself and Heath. I nod and smile before turning to Scott and make sure that he is ok with it. The last thing that I want is to piss him off on my first day. Scott nods at me and gives me the stern, authoritative look as if to say remember what I said.

"Meet you guys there," Zane says in his girl voice and extends his hands to Heath and I. "Let's go, Babes."

It felt a bit awkward holding hands with a guy I practically just met, but I didn't want to be rude and pull it away. Normally I would claim shotgun if I was with my friends back home, but I didn't want to seem stuck up or annoying so I just sat in the other seat.

When we get back to the house, we notice that we were the last ones to get there.

"What took you guys so long?" David says, raising his eyebrows in a suggestive way.

"Zane is just a slow driver," I joke a bit.

"Zane is like an old man when it comes to driving," Heath joins in.

"Am not!" Zane hollers from the other room, making us all laugh.
