Y/N POV
"Why are they fighting again, Brandon?" You say as your voice trembles from fright. "I really don't know this time," Brandon replies holding you in his arms.
As your parents continue to fight you hear doors slam. Tonight Brandon would be sleeping in your room again for the third time this week.
A week passes and you haven't seen your dad since the dinner of the night of the fight. You wonder where he has gone. "I hope he is okay," you repeat in your head.
As the weeks go on you see less of your dad's stuff in the house. Pretty soon you notice your mom has taken her wedding ring off. You have no clue what was happening until you hear your mom talking to Brandon.
"Your father has been having an affair this past 8 months and," you hear your mom sob. Affair? What's affair...
Narrator's POV
Y/N was 8 years old as she didn't know what affair was. She lost her father and then she hears that he's had an affair, whatever that could be.
