Sometimes in life, it so happens that certain things make absolutely no sense to us. They might seem really odd when they occur—a total chaos.

Not a leaf falls but that He knows it.

You might not be able to make sense of things or truly understand why they happen; but then again, when you take a moment for yourself and ponder over it all, you would find that all our lives indeed have weird phases—phases which resemble pieces of a jigsaw puzzle having magnetic property.

He knows everything that is in the land and in the sea.

Scatter them, shuffle them, place them around, ignore them. No matter what you do, you’d find that at the end of the day, those phases in our lives have the knack of coming together all on their own—complementing edges moulding, fitting with perfection, leaving the beholder bewitched.

And no grain is there within the darkness of the earth, and no moist or dry [thing] but that is [written] in a clear record.

The four were destined to meet even before they were born. It was long decided that time would work its charm.

He has created everything and has ordained for it a measure.

With each other as back-up, they’ve got a long way to go.

Verily, We have created everything with Qadar.

There is a lot of gruesome facts waiting to be uncovered. Their love is put to the test, and their knights in shining armour have yet to arrive.

And with Him are the keys of the Ghayb. None knows them but He.

Four muslimahs,

Four lives,

Four destinations,

And strong ties

Surviving the modern world,

Endeavouring to be steadfast,

Determined to pass the test,

Hoping that Allaah would be their mast.

They aren't of the stereotypical ones;

There is something quite special about them.

They struggle, juggle, and pull all sort of antics

But never let anything separate their beliefs from them.

Their innocence clouds their judgement;

They are ignorant of the vile ways of the world.

They only prefer to see what they want to

And the changing days have caused their paths to be blurred.

They know not that the sea has long lost its calmness,

That in time, the waves have grown to be rough.

The wind has long ceased its gentleness;

If anything, it has gone increasingly gruff.

As they set out, their journey will be filled with storms,

And their anchor will weigh them down.

They will run out of stocks and suffer a lot

But will their faith ever let them drown?

Will they manage to reach the shore?

Or will they succumb to the evil world?

Will they manage to please Allaah?

Will the flag of their Imaan remain unfurled?

The stronger their faith, the more rugged is their path

But they have set their mind in pleasing Him.

Hearts filled with steely resolve, they’d march ahead,

Braving and discarding all kinds of fancies and whims.
