Chapter 2 Fluttershy's Snowy Angel

Snowy Meadow- 3 years old

"I better hurry home and tell Fluttershy my exciting news!" said a very happy Discord.

"Me! A godfather to two foals I absolutely adore! How much better can life get! I should get them a present for the next time I go over! But what to get them?" he said to himself as he walked up to Fluttershy and Butterscotch's cottage on the edge of the everfree forest.

He knocked on the door and immediately afterward it was opened by Butterscotch.

"Hello Discord! Did you finish helping Pinkie already?" he asked.

"Actually we didn't really work today. I helped her with her foals, but since I don't want to have to repeat myself I'll tell you when both you and Fluttershy are present. By the way where is Fluttershy?" he said.

"She's outside with Snowy tending to the chickens. You wouldn't believe how good with animals Snowy is! She calmed down Clucky who had a thorn in her wing and helped Fluttershy carefully remove it. It was amazing!" he said.

"Wow I knew she was nice with Angel but never would I have guesses she had knack for others as well!" Discord said.

"Well you are our uncle and you have the body parts of several animals and you can talk to animals! It was natural for us to somehow inherit it, but she loves the animals! She likes to brush Angel before she goes to bed and he sits there without complaint! Fluttershy can't even get him to sit still for breakfast!" Butterscotch said.

"Trust me I know! That bunny can hardly sit still for a second! Let alone a good fur brushing!" Discord said in agreement.

"I guess she likes animals and animals love her!" he said.

"What do I love Daddy?" asked a very confused Snowy who had just walked in from outdoors.

"All of the animals we take care of sweetie!"

"I love the animals a lot Daddy! They are so nice and pretty! Especially Angel bunny!" she said.

"Of course everyone loves Angel!" said Fluttershy who had just walked in, "Hello Discord. How was your day with Pinkie Pie?"

"It was fantastic!" he said with a smile, "in fact I'll tell you both while Snowy is eating her dinner."

"We better get that started then" said Fluttershy.

"Momma can I help you?" asked the young filly.

"Of course! Tonight is steamed broccoli with a side of potatoes and gravy. How does that sound sweetie?" Fluttershy asked.

"It sounds yummy!" she replied.

"Let's go pick the veggies from outside then!" Fluttershy said.

"Let's go!" Snowy said as she ran out the door.

"Don't worry I'll be there in a second! Can you two set the table please? Butterscotch you know where everything is, so Discord you can help me look for a basket really quickly." she said.

"Let me guess you cleaned up everything even though spring is only two months away and I will have no idea where anything is?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, me and Butterscotch did." she replied.

"Ok then let's go find a basket to pick those nice vegetables!" he said.
