Coming home (a jack gilinsky fanfic)

I was currently sitting on a plane next to a fat, grumpy, old man snoring on my shoulder. I was on my way to Nebraska for the summer to visit my best friend who I haven't seen since New Years when she visited me in Alabama.

To say I was excited was an understatement. But this man was really killing my mood!

"This is your pilot speaking we will be landing in Nebraska in 5 minuets so please fasten your seat belts!"

By the time we landed I could not stay in my seat. I couldn't wait to get off this plane! I grabbed my carry on,containing my laptop, phone,and other necessities!

I had gotten all my luggage and was now on my way out of the airport. I flagged down a taxi,gave him the address and was on my way to Omaha to surprise my best friend.

"Sophie!" A voice I knew all to well yelled.

"Mama J!" I replied back to my the woman who was like my second mom.

"What Are you Doing here?! You are two weeks early!" She said with the biggest smile on her face.

"I know I wanted to surprise Dani!"

"Oh she's gonna love it! She's missed you so much!"

I couldn't help but smile. Danielle has been my best friend since pre-k. But I had to move away at the beginning of last year because my dad had gotten a promotion to mobile Alabama, and I had no choice but to pack up my life here.

"Well she should be home in about an hour or two. So you go head and put your stuff in her room and get settled In!" She said ushering me to go upstairs.

I walked up the grand stair case and to the left. I passed jacks room and then to dani's room at the very end of the hall. Nothing has changed! her room is still the way I remember. Pictures of us everywhere and our best friend airbrush t-shirt we got when we were 10 framed and put on her wall.

I started to unpack my clothes and put them in my dresser in her closet that I've had for years. I basically lived here when I still lived in Omaha.
I really missed it here.

After I was unpacked it was around 1:30, so dani and jack should be home soon! I ran down the stairs to the kitchen and grabbed a water.

I heard the front door open and dani and jack walk in. I quickly ran to the dining room where they wouldn't see me. They walked into the kitchen and that's when I jumped out and yelled "boo!" The both jumped and I laughed so hard! When I opened my eyes the only thing I saw was dani flying towards me! We both ended up on the floor laughing!

"What are you doing here?!" She yelled

"Surprise?" I said shrugging my shoulders!

All she did was laugh and hug me even tighter! "I missed you!!"

"I know" I said with a small smirk.
It wasn't until I looked up to see jack standing there with a huge smile on his face! He loved seeing his sister happy! I jumped up and gave him a quick hug!
" and how are you mr. Jack?!" I asked

"Great! And you sophs?" he asked will hugging me back.

"Awesome!" I said.

"He guys well gilinsky is coming over tonight! He'll be excited to see you Sophie." He said with a smirk. I couldn't help but to just blush a deep shade of pink. Jack gilinsky and I go way back! We've always had kinda a thing for each other. But I haven't spoken to him in months.

"Don't tell him I'm here! Let it be a surprise." I said. He just laughed and agreed and disappeared up the the stairs.

I look back over to Danielle and ran back over to her and gave her another hug. It had been too long.

She just laughed and we made our way back upstairs. I went over to my stuff grabbed some running shorts and a t-shirt and put my long blonde/brown hair in a messy bun with a nike headband. We had agreed on not doing anything tonight but to go down stairs order pizza and watch movies and just catch up.

"You order the pizza, and I'll get the pillows and blankets." I said and she agreed. We both went our separate. I walked to the hall closet grabbed about 4-5 blankets and some pillows. I walked back out to the living room and made a small pallet on the floor for us.

"Pizza should be here any minuet" dani said with a smile.
"Great!"

It had been about 10 minuets and the door bell rang.
"Right on time" dani said, as she got up to get the pizza. She came back a few seconds later with two boxes of dominos pizza. I licked my lips and gabbed the first piece I saw.

We were half way through the movie 'fast and the furious 5' when jack and jack walked in. I looked up and smiled really wide. When Jack gilinsky noticed me his face was priceless. He had the most shocked expression on his face!

"Sophie?" He asked in disbelief.
"What's up gilinsky?" I said playing cool, but on the inside I was freaking out because he looked so much hotter than he did when i left!

I stood up and walked over to him giving him a hug. He hugged back immediately his arms wrapping around my waist.

"You know I've missed you so much" he whispered in my ear. Shivers ran down my spine. I haven't seen him since I moved because he didn't go with dani and jack to visit me over winter break.

I smiled replying "I know, I've missed you too." We let go of each other and turned back towards the two siblings. Both of them had the biggest grin on their face and I couldn't help but chuckle a little bit.

I walked back over to dani and sat down next to her on the floor and jack and jack lied down on the long 'L' shaped couch. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep with the happiest smile on my face.
