Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.Blake woke up to the sound of his phone buzzing. He groaned as the noise only added on to his awful migraine. He really shouldn't have drunk so much.
But the phone kept buzzing. He rubbed his eyes and squinted at his phone and who the hell left the curtain open. He could barely open his eyes. He unplugged the phone from the charger and stared at the caller ID.
It was Gwen.
Fuck.
He decided it was better to put her on speaker in case she went off at him. Lord knows that his head doesn't need that right now. Huh, these sheets are so soft.
"Blake. Blake. What the hell." Yup he was right. "Listen before you even yell at me for whatever it is I did this time, I have a awful headache, last night I had a really rough night."
"Ya no shit Adam told me all of it. Your a mess. Come by my house and get all your stuff out today at 6. I'll be taking Apollo to the doctors so I won't be there. After that, don't expect a call from me."
*Call ended*
Adam. That little shit.
He went right to Adams number and dialed. He had such a bad headache he needed to take it out on someone. He took some deep breaths to try to soothe himself. He immediately noticed how good the room smelled. Not usually like his. That's when it hit him. This room wasn't his. Not the curtains or the bed or the really really soft bed sheets.
It was Adams.
He also noticed there was a wrinkled spot on the bed next to him. Meaning someone must have been sleeping with him. Next to him he meant. Just before that realization settled into his mind the room door carefully opened and Adam squeezed his head through the door.
"Hey you called me?" He asked confused as to why Blake would called when they were in the same house. He thought it might be an emergency so he ran up the stairs. That was before he had to take a second to calm himself down, not wanting Blake to think he's eager. Which to be honest he totally was.
"Well you tell me, did you call Gwen." Adams face dropped. "That's what I thought. I turn to you for help, and you use it against me. "
"No Blake it's not like that" the younger man was surprised Blake took it this way. Which immediately made him wonder "what the hell did Gwen even say to you?"
"She said you told her about everything that happened last night. Your a disloyal bad friend. I don't know why I trusted you with something like this." He watched as Adam stood there unsure of what to say.
Then anger quickly rose. "Do you even know what happened last night! Do you know what I went through to get you here and safe. To keep you from crying. Only for her to call your phone and send you messages asking why you won't respond. I thought if I let it ring she'd think worse of you. So I answered. Yeah I answered. But only to tell her you were going through a tough time. It was YOUR wasted ass that took the phone from me!"
Blake quickly felt guilt overcome him. He felt like jumping out a window. Not only did he embarrass himself in front of Gwen and yell at Adam for no reason, but he might have possibly ruined all chances he had with Adam.
"You ever thought how I might of felt. When I think about it all the time. How I might have ruined your relationship. But I thought, you know, it was all for a good reason. Blake's happy with me, I'm happy with him. Then watching you tell her how much you love her and want her back, I realized I really did ruin everything. You just don't have the balls to tell me like she did."
And with that, he turned around and walked away. Leaving Blake speechless. Fuck the tables really do turn.
