Rumples POV

I had to get her out of the diner.

Whoever put that note there, knows that's where we sit.

Knows we go into Granny's at all.

It must be someone we already know.

But who?

Ruby? No... She wouldn't do this if she knew it would affect Belle.

I can think of a lot of people who might once have messed with me, but none of them would now.

That's a horrible thought.

Someone watching us...

Watching Belle...

I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened to her.

That's why I put my arm around her waist and we went and sat right at the edge of the forest.

"So, why here today?" she laughed settling down on the blanket we found in the basket.

"Just thought we could do with some fresh air... Apple pie?" I changed the subject.

"Yes please," She replied, looking up at the blue sky.

It was beautiful. Almost as beautiful as Belle. But not quite. Nothing could be.

As I give her the pie, she sighs and slips her head on my shoulder.

"I can see why you like it here," she said closing her eyes.

The slight breeze was making her brown curls lift off her face.

Now it was my turn to sigh.

Belle slowly lies down, taking me with her.

Opening her blue eyes she says,

"That one looks like a flower," she directs my eyes, pointing with her finger.

She is so imaginative. So creative. But me? I try so hard, but I just can't see it.

"Mhh..." I say sadly.

She turns sideways to face me, and frowns as if to say, why can't you see it?

Then suddenly her face softened and she started to laugh.

She gently, pushed my head to the right a little bit, and there it was.

A flower.

"Sometimes, you just need to look at it from a different point of view," she smiled, pleased I could finally see it.

And then I kissed her.
