Chapter 1: Jesus 2.0

School was a pretty boring subject for the girl. She was okay. Nothing Jimmy Neutron level, but average. That seems as if it was the only word to ever describe her life anymore. Just an average girl, with an average family, and average clothes. Coincidentally, her life was anything but.

It was no super secret lifestyle, like she had superhero powers, it's just nothing was exactly normal, if you would say.

She was at school, and there was about a month and a half left. World Geography was fun, but all they talked about was religion. Jesus this, Allah that. She wasn't trying to be offense, but it was starting to get annoying learning about things she didn't necessarily believe in. She respected their beliefs and never wanted to give the feeling she was being prejudice against religions, but believe it or not, they were in public school.

They were doing trivia, and there was a question about what country in the Asian area made the people have to serve in the military. The answer was Israel. Since Jesus sort of originated in Israel, someone decided to ask a question.

"Does that mean Jesus was a part of the army?"

And with that, laughter erupted within the small room. Kids remember the others not so bright questions that student had asked, like about why didn't Mexico City just cut a hole into the mountains to clear the smog. Truly an amazing idea, she thought, but mountains are cool, so I'd opt against it.

The bell rang, lunch time was here. Yes. Happy times were upon the soldiers. Food food food food food food food. FOOD.

She was a good kid, she guessed. Bored thoroughly throughout most of her life, school wasn't the least bit interesting. Sometimes it looked as if she was enjoying herself, but she was probably bored, to be honest.

Nothing extraordinary happened, nothing ever really happened, so she'd read about exciting things. She'd watch new videos, with humor in them, of course, she'd spurt out random facts about space, and all the things most people would really get annoyed about, hence the lack of friends she had. Also, in her opinion, people were icky and gave her anxiety, but internet people were where it's at. And people she never had the chance of meeting. Whatever.

School droned on, math, science, learning in general, bored her to tears. Sounds fun.

Music was really cool in her opinion. She couldn't get enough of it. Only just getting into music again, she loved buying the CD's. Not the kind on iTunes, but the real hard copies. Her brother said it was a waste of money since she could just download it for free, but she guessed he didn't understand.

The feeling of the cold plastic in her hands was one of the best feelings in the world for the girl. The art on the front was beautiful, no matter what it was. Glossy or matte discs brought a feeling of serenity to the girl. Peeling off the plastic covering was better than opening a gift for Christmas or for your birthday. To be honest, she never really understood birthday presents it was like, welcome to a world you had no choice in being brought into, and we brought you into it crying and defenseless, so open my present and be grateful. P.S. if you don't like it I will be offended.

Whatever. Birthdays are weird.
